La lectura de estos mensajes dura en el audio hasta el minuto 14:12, y luego hay comentarios.
Son cuatro mensajes, de Jesús, de Lafayette y de dos miembros de la familia de Leslie Stone. Por ejemplo, el famoso revolucionario Lafayette ─que murió en 1834 según la wikipedia─ nos comenta sobre el cambio en su actitud, pues aunque ya llevaba muchos años en el mundo espiritual, resulta que al parecer todavía era capaz de odiar a los alemanes ─en presencia ahora de la primera guerra mundial (que transcurre mientras se dan muchos de estos mensajes)─.

El general de la Guerra de la Independencia relata cómo Washington le ayudó a comprender el Amor del Padre y el consiguiente cambio de actitud hacia los alemanes (Lafayette) (26 abril 1916)

Estoy aquí, Lafayette.
Desde hace tiempo anhelaba escribirte de nuevo para contarte los resultados de tus consejos. Tras nuestra última comunicación, busqué al general Washington y le hablé de nuestra conversación. Le pedí que me explicara qué significaba este Amor Divino y cómo se podía obtener.
Mi pregunta le complació tanto que me abrazó y me llamó «hijo», tal como lo había hecho en la tierra. Y con el rostro radiante de amor y felicidad, me explicó qué significaba este Amor, lo que había hecho por él, la felicidad que le había brindado y cómo ahora avanzaba hacia los Ámbitos Celestiales de luz y verdad.
Bueno, comencé a reflexionar sobre lo que me había dicho, y a anhelar en mi alma ese Amor y la felicidad que, según él, me traería. Y empecé a orar por tal Amor y a tratar de tener fe. Sin extenderme demasiado en los detalles de mi progreso, me alegra decirte que en cierta medida poseo este Amor, y que ahora habito en la tercera esfera y disfruto de la compañía de espíritus que también poseen este Amor y se esfuerzan por progresar.
Mi felicidad es muy diferente a la que tenía antes de recibir este Amor, y comprendo que, especialmente con respecto a los hijos redimidos de Dios, el hombre es el alma, no la mente. Nunca imaginé que el alma fuera capaz de tal Amor y felicidad, ni capaz de conocer que el Amor Divino es lo absolutamente necesario para llevar a los espíritus al acuerdo con el Padre.
Quiero expresarte mi gratitud y decirte que jamás olvidaré tu bondad y amor al guiar mis pensamientos hacia esta gran verdad.
Y sí, sigo interesado en la guerra, pero ya no tengo el odio que sentía antes por los alemanes. Veo que todos son hermanos, e hijos del Padre, y que solo las ambiciones de algunos y las pasiones y el odio de otros prolongan la guerra. Pero pronto terminará, pues veo ante mí el colapso de la campaña alemana contra Verdún, y entonces el fin llegará rápidamente.
Ojalá fuera mañana, pues entonces cesarían la matanza, la muerte y la miseria. Hay muchos espíritus que provienen de estos campos de batalla, todos ellos incapaces de vivir en la vida espiritual, y se muestran muy confundidos; y cuando se dan cuenta de que ya no son mortales, se quedan perplejos y se sienten miserables. Pero nosotros intentamos ayudarlos. No conocemos enemigos y a todos se les ayuda por igual.
No escribiré más por esta noche y, para terminar, te envío mi amor y firmo de una nueva manera, que es,

Aquí estoy, William Stone.
Soy el padre de ese chico, y quiero decirle que yo también estoy feliz, al igual que su madre; pero no tan feliz como ella, pues no estoy en su esfera elevada, aunque me esfuerzo por llegar allí y disfrutar de su hogar. Leslie, hijo mío, también me alegra que estés intentando seguir los pasos del Maestro en tu amor por el Padre y en las aspiraciones de tu alma.
Cree en esta verdad y no te decepcionarás. Cuando llegue el gran día del reencuentro, encontrarás más amor esperándote del que jamás creíste posible para un espíritu. Así que confía en Dios y sigue las enseñanzas del Maestro. Sé lo importante que es esto, pues yo las desconocía en la tierra y solo las he aprendido al llegar al mundo espiritual.
Bendigo a tu querida madre, pues si no hubiera sido por sus enseñanzas tras su llegada, probablemente sería un hombre relajado [easy going], disfrutando de la felicidad que me brindaban mi buen carácter y mi amor por las cosas en general. Pero cuando llegó ella y vi que poseía un Amor que yo no tenía, y que debía obtener para estar con ella; y cuando me dijo cuánto me amaba, busqué ese Amor que ella tenía, y con la ayuda suya y la del Espíritu Santo, lo obtuve, y ahora soy muy feliz, pues es este Amor lo único que me puede permitir estar con ella donde ella se encuentra.
Pero aún no estoy con ella, pues su condición espiritual es superior a la mía como para ser capaz de compartir su hogar. Es tan hermosa y buena que no me conformo con vivir lejos de ella, y me esfuerzo con todos los anhelos de mi alma por estar junto a ella, orando al Padre por este Amor Divino, la única posesión que me hará digno de ella.
Así que, Leslie, cree en lo que decimos, y confía en Dios y serás feliz.
Tu padre amoroso
El Maestro declara que ha elegido al dr. Stone para realizar una obra para el Reino, tal como eligió al sr. Padgett. Esta obra será una obra de amor, que requiere de mucho esfuerzo físico así como espiritual (Jesús) (15 diciembre 1915)

He escuchado lo que le dijiste a tu amigo, el dr. Stone, y debo decirte que, si bien aprecias en cierta medida el Gran Amor que te llegó anoche, aun así no puedes comprenderlo del todo, pues ningún mortal puede, aunque sí experimentaste la maravillosa sensación de su afluencia. Pero permíteme enfatizar que si continúas teniendo los grandes anhelos y deseos que tuviste anoche, el Amor del Padre te llegará en mayor abundancia.
Y quiero añadir que el mismo Amor que recibiste está aguardando para el dr. Stone, y será suyo si tan solo eleva sus anhelos al Padre con toda la sinceridad y fervor de su alma. Si bien os he elegido a vosotros para la gran obra de recibir mis verdades y difundirlas a toda la humanidad, también he elegido al dr. Stone para una obra que será de gran importancia, y que requerirá de su parte un trabajo de amor y un gran esfuerzo físico así como espiritual. No solo debe creer en mí y confiar en el Padre, sino también elevar todos sus anhelos, oraciones y deseos para obtener el gran Amor, y será suyo.
Me alegra que vosotros dos os hayáis unido tanto en vuestras creencias y en vuestra fe en el Amor Divino; y además os diré que ambos recibiréis una felicidad que nunca os será arrebatada, ni siquiera mientras estéis en la tierra, y que cuando lleguéis al mundo espiritual esta felicidad se incrementará más allá de toda comprensión humana. Me alegra también que podáis compartir reflexiones sobre estos temas importantes de mis enseñanzas religiosas, y siento que ambos tenéis una obra por realizar. Y sobre todo me alegra que estéis dispuestos y deseosos de llevarla a cabo.
Os quiero con todo mi amor, y seréis objeto de custodia y de cuidado especiales por mi parte. Y en el gran más allá, cuando terminéis vuestra obra en la tierra, recibiréis una recompensa que los ángeles anhelarían, y de la que se maravillarían al ver que vosotros dos pudisteis recibirla. Os envío mi amor esta noche, y también oraré al Padre para que os conceda Su gran amor y bendiciones. Entonces, creed con todo vuestro corazón, y Su amor y bendiciones se derramarán sobre vosotros.

Aquí estoy, Priscilla Stone.
Sólo quiero decirte una palabra antes de que dejes de escribir, pues he estado presente toda la noche, he escuchado vuestra conversación, y he visto el estado de vuestras almas, las vuestras y la de mi hijo querido. Y decirte que me alegro por esto apenas expresa lo que siento.
Estoy muy agradecida al Padre porque, en Su gran Amor y misericordia, ha permitido que mi hijo conozca y experimente la presencia de este gran Amor redentor. Cuando pienso en la gran cantidad de seres humanos ─casi todos─ que desconocen este Amor y el camino al gran Reino Celestial de Dios, donde hay tanta felicidad y certeza de la inmortalidad, me siento casi del todo abrumada, y me asombra que se le haya concedido tal privilegio a mi hijo, quien, por supuesto, no es más merecedor de esta bendición de lo que lo serían otras miles de personas en la humanidad. Dios es bueno y estoy muy agradecida.
Dile a mi hijo que recuerde lo que el apóstol Santiago le escribió, y que crea y confíe en sus palabras sobre la recompensa que será suya al llegar al mundo espiritual y al ver los frutos de sus esfuerzos por ayudar a mortales y a espíritus.
Si tan solo mis otros hijos le escucharan, y dedicaran sus pensamientos a estas cosas espirituales, buscando este Amor Divino, yo sería tan feliz que exclamaría, como David, cuando en el Salmo 23 escribió: «¡Mi copa de alegría rebosa!».
Ruego y espero que alguna pequeña verdad encuentre cabida en sus almas y germine hasta que, finalmente, hallen la perla de gran precio del Padre.
Dile a mi hijo que crea que su madre lo ama profundamente y que está con él muy a menudo, y que ahora intenta demostrarle su amor, y transmitir su agradecimiento al Padre de todos.
Su padre también está aquí y le envía su amor y bendiciones, diciéndole que debe orar, creer y obrar, pues en estas tres cosas encontrará un poder que vencerá todos los obstáculos y le brindará ese Amor y esa paz que solo los hijos redimidos del Padre pueden poseer o comprender.
No escribiré más por ahora y te agradezco el privilegio. Que Dios bendiga a mi hijo y lo guíe por el camino del Amor que conduce al Ámbito Celestial. Y así, diré, buenas noches. Tu madre ─él sabe que soy su madre sin necesidad de dejarlo aquí consignado─.

The Revolutionary War General relates how Washington helped him to a knowledge of the Father’s Love, and his resultant changed attitude towards the Germans (Lafayette)
Received April 26, 1916.
I am here, Lafayette.
I have been anxious for some time to write you again and let you know the results of your advice to me when last I wrote. After our last communication, I sought General Washington and told him of my conversation with you and asked him to explain what this Divine Love meant and how it could be obtained.
He was so pleased at my inquiry that he actually took me in his arms and called me his boy as he had on earth and with his face beaming with love and happiness he told me what this Love meant and what it had done for him, and what happiness it had brought him and how he was now progressing towards the Celestial Heavens of light and truth.
Well, I commenced to consider what he had told me and to have a longing in my soul for that Love and the happiness which he said it would bring me, and I commenced to pray for the Love and tried to have faith. Well, without taking up your time by rehearsing the steps of my progress, I am glad to tell you that I have this Love to some extent and that I am now an inhabitant of the third sphere and enjoying the associations of spirits who also have this Love and are striving to progress.
My happiness is very different from what it was before this Love came to me and I realize that the soul and not the mind is the man, especially of God’s redeemed children. I never thought that the soul was capable of such Love and happiness and of the knowledge that the Divine Love is the one absolutely necessary thing to bring spirits into unison with the Father.
I want to express my gratitude to you and to say that I will never forget your kindness and love in turning my thoughts to this great truth.
Yes, I am still interested in the war, but now I do not have any hatred for the Germans that I had before. I see that they are all brothers, and children of the Father, and that only the ambitions of some and the passions and hatred of others are prolonging the war. But it will soon close for I see before me the collapse of the German campaign against Verdun and then the end will come rapidly.
I wish it were tomorrow, for then slaughter and death and added misery would cease. There are so many spirits coming from these battlefields who are all unfit for the spirit life and appear in great confusion, and when they realize they are no longer mortals they become bewildered and miserable. But we are trying to help them. We know no enemies and all are helped alike. I will not write more tonight and in closing give you my love and sign myself with a new name, which is,

The publisher’s father states he is making earnest efforts to reach his wife’s home and be with her through prayer to the Father for His Love (William Stone)

I am here, William Stone.
I am the father of that boy, and I want to say to him that I am happy, too, as well as his mother; but not as happy as she is, I am not in her high sphere, but am striving to get there and enjoy her home. Leslie, my son, I am also happy that you are trying to follow the steps of the Master in your love for the Father, and in your soul aspirations.
Believe in this truth and you will not be disappointed. When the great day of reunion comes, you will find more love waiting you than you ever thought possible for a spirit to receive. So trust in God and follow the teachings of the Master. I know the importance of this as one who was ignorant of them on earth and has learned only since coming to the spirit world.
I bless that dear mother of yours, for if it had not been for her teachings after she came over, I would probably be an easy going spirit, as I was a man, enjoying the happiness which my good nature and love of things generally gave me.
But when she came, and I saw she had a Love which I had not, and which I must get to be with her, and when she told me how much she loved me, I sought for the kind of Love she had, and with her help and that of the Holy Spirit, I obtained this Love, and am now very happy, for it is this Love which alone may make it possible for me to be with her where she is.
But I am not yet with her, as her soul condition is above mine for me to be able to share her home. She is so beautiful and good that I am not content to live away from her, and I am trying with all my soul’s desires to be together with her, through prayer to the Father for this Divine Love, the one possession that can make me worthy of her.
So, Leslie, believe what we say, and trust in God, and you will be happy.

The Master declares that he has selected Dr. Stone to do a work for the Kingdom, just as he selected Mr. Padgett. This work will be a labor of love, requiring much physical as well as spiritual exertion (Jesus)

I am here, Jesus.
I have heard what you have said to your friend, Dr. Stone, and I must say that while you have some appreciation of the Great Love that came to you last night, yet you cannot fully understand, for no mortal can, although you did experience a wonderful feeling of its inflowing. But let me emphasize that if you continue to have the great longings and desires that you had last night, the Father’s Love will come to you in increased abundance.
And I want further to say that the same Love that you received is waiting for Dr. Stone and will be his if he will only let his longings go out to the Father with all his soul’s earnestness. While I have selected you to perform the great task of receiving my truths and spreading them to all mankind, I have also selected Dr. Stone to do a work which will be of great importance and will involve a labor of love on his part, and much physical as well as spiritual exertion. He must not only believe in me and trust in the Father, but let all his longings and prayers and desires go to obtain the great Love, and it will be his.
I am glad that you two men have come so closely together in your beliefs and in your faith in the Divine Love; and I will further tell you that you will both receive a happiness that can never be taken fromyou, even while you are on earth, and when you come to the spirit world this happiness will be increased beyond all human conception. I am also glad that you can exchange thoughts on these important subjects of my religious teachings, and feel that you both have a work to do, and, above all, am happy that you are willing and anxious to do it.
I am with you in all my love, and will make both of you the special objects of my care and keeping – and in the great hereafter when you shall end your work on earth, you will both receive a reward that angels would wish for and wonder that you two could receive it. So I will give you both my love to-night, and will also pray to the Father to bestow upon you His Great Love and blessings. So believe with all your hearts and His Love and blessings will be poured out upon you.

I am here, Priscilla Stone.
I want to say just one word before you stop writing, for I have been present all evening and have heard your conversation, and have seen the condition of the souls of both yourself and my dear boy, and to tell you that I am happy because of this hardly expresses my feelings.
I am so thankful to the Father that He has in His great Love and mercy enabled my son to know and experience the presence of this great redeeming Love. When I think of the great number of human beings nearly all whom have no true knowledge of this Love and the way to the great Celestial Kingdom of God where there is so much happiness and the assurance of immortality, I am almost overcome and wonder that such a privilege should be bestowed on my son, who of course is no more deserving of this blessing than are thousands of others of mankind. God is good and I am so very thankful.
Tell my boy to remember what James the Apostle wrote him, and to believe and trust in what he said, as to what reward shall be his when he comes to the spirit world and realize the results of his efforts to help both mortals and spirits.
If my other children would only listen to him and turn their thoughts to these spiritual things, and to seek this Divine Love, I would be so happy that I would exclaim with David when he wrote in the 23d Psalm «my cup of joy runneth over.»
And I am praying and hoping that some little truth will find lodgment in their souls and germinate until at last they shall find the pearl of great price from the Father.
Tell my boy to believe that his mother loves him so much and is with him so very often and that she is now trying to unfold her love to him and convey her thanks to the Father of All.
His father is here too and sends his love and blessings and says that his son must pray and believe and work, for in these three things will be found a power that will overcome all obstacles and bring to him that Love and peace that only the redeemed children of the Father can possibly possess or understand.
I will not write more now and thank you for the privilege. God bless my boy and keep him in the way of Love that leads to the Celestial Heaven. And so I will say, good-night. His mother – he knows that I am his mother without signing my name.
