La lectura de estos mensajes dura en el audio hasta el minuto 17:48, y luego hay comentarios. Esta vez podemos decir que los mensajes no tienen relación directa con este tema 11, que agrupa mensajes muy variados.
Son mensajes de Esaú, Lot y Salomón, nuevamente de entre los célebres de la tradición judaica.

Ahora conoce la diferencia entre aquel espíritu que posee el amor divino en su alma y el que no lo posee (Esaú – Hijo de Isaac)
Estoy aquí, Esaú, hijo de Isaac.
Yo era hijo de Isaac y hermano de Jacob, y aquel a quien los judíos consideraban que había vendido su primogenitura por un plato de lentejas, pero fui malinterpretado en este sentido, pues solo hice lo que la necesidad me obligaba a hacer.
Pero todo eso ya pasó, y ahora soy un habitante de los Ámbitos Celestiales, pues en el mundo de los espíritus todo se corrige, y me convertí en poseedor del amor divino tras recibir el conocimiento de su reotorgamiento con la venida de Jesús.
Muchos de los personajes del Antiguo Testamento aún no han comprendido esta gran transformación, pues, en su propia concepción de lo justo [self righteousness], se conforman con eso, y adoran a Dios como lo hacían en la tierra. Si bien han dejado de ofrecer sacrificios de animales ─pues no tienen ninguno que ofrecer en la vida espiritual─ aún creen que el sacrificio es necesario, y en su imaginación ofrecen lo que para ellos simboliza aquellas ofrendas que hacían en la vida terrenal.
Sí, es una suposición bastante natural, pero debes saber que la mente y las creencias de los mortales continúan con ellos cuando se convierten en los espíritus de aquellos que no se van a dejar convencer de los errores de sus concepciones de la Deidad ─y muchos de estos espíritus de antaño se encuentran en esa condición ahora─. Se niegan a creer, o siquiera sea a escuchar, las verdades de la existencia y de su relación con Dios, tal como lo hacían en la tierra.
Tienen ojos, pero no ven, y oídos, pero no oyen, y envueltos en la oscuridad de sus creencias, se niegan a dejar entrar la luz, o a permitir que las verdades*, tan evidentes para otros, iluminen sus almas. Una mente encerrada en el fanatismo y la intolerancia sigue siendo la misma después de que el mortal se convierte en espíritu, incluso a pesar de un cambio en su entorno, en lo que podríamos llamar su existencia física y en sus posibilidades de aprender la verdad. Pese a todo eso, muchos de estos espíritus se niegan rotundamente a reconocer cualquier cambio o posibilidad de cambio en su condición espiritual. (*Véase erratas.) [Este paréntesis sobre «erratas» está aquí colocado en el pdf original en inglés, y parece que se refiere a que han tenido que corregir algo importante aquí. No es sorprendente que no entiendas cómo es posible que estos espíritus de la clase mencionada hayan vivido durante tantos años ─según como vosotros consideráis el tiempo─ en esta condición, rodeados de espíritus* que han encontrado la verdad y que la manifiestan en sus apariencias y felicidad ─y especialmente por algunos de sus antiguos compañeros que han entrado en la luz─ sin verse influenciados por estas apariencias y por las experiencias de dichos compañeros. Sin embargo, es cierto, y la dificultad de convertir a estos espíritus intolerantes parece aumentar a medida que progresan mentalmente y en el amor natural. (*Véase Errata.)
Son felices en un sentido relativo y, en sus creencias, no conciben ninguna otra creencia o causa de progreso que pueda brindarles mayor felicidad; además, están firmemente convencidos de que están haciendo la voluntad de Dios en su forma de adoración y en sus sacrificios simbólicos.
Estos espíritus antiguos, tal como los consideráis, pero que en las esferas espirituales son jóvenes en comparación con otros muchos espíritus, tienen sinagogas y templos de adoración, sacerdotes, sirvientes y adoradores conforme a sus antiguas creencias. Las ceremonias que se celebran en sus reuniones de adoración son muy similares a las de la tierra. Llevan todas las vestimentas, atuendos y demás atavíos que en la tierra los distinguían del pueblo llano, y rezan en público y se deleitan en presentarse como espíritus santos, los elegidos de Dios, tal como lo hacían en la tierra. Y a medida que se desarrollan cada vez más en su amor natural y alcanzan la perfección, hasta la perfección de los primeros padres tal como existían antes de la caída, pueden permanecer en esta creencia en cuanto a su relación con Dios y a la única y correcta manera de adorarlo por toda la eternidad.
Se niegan a recibir el conocimiento de la verdad del Nuevo Nacimiento, y como para ellos es opcional, y como su rechazo no les impide convertirse en el «hombre perfecto» ─tal como se os ha explicado─, entonces no existe una necesidad absoluta ─así creen ellos─ de nacer de nuevo para restaurar la armonía de esa condición y relación que podrían tener con el Padre.
Por supuesto, hasta el día de la consumación del Reino de las esferas celestiales tendrán la oportunidad de convertirse en receptores del amor divino y de la transformación en ángeles redimidos, pero es dudoso que muchos de ellos elijan alguna vez aceptar este gran privilegio.
Me alegra poder escribirte esta noche, ya que es una experiencia nueva para mí, pero que me da una gran satisfacción. Volveré, si te parece bien, y te escribiré más.
Para concluir, deseo decir que conozco la diferencia entre el espíritu que posee el amor divino en su alma y el que no lo posee, y que el mero tiempo transcurrido de existencia de un espíritu en el mundo espiritual no indica necesariamente que posea el amor divino. Como dijo Jesús en la tierra: «Los primeros serán los últimos, y los últimos los primeros», y debo añadir que algunos nunca serán primeros ni últimos, sino solo recordatorios de lo que pudo haber sido.

Salomón, del Antiguo Testamento.
Solo vengo a decirte que muy pronto deseo escribirte otro mensaje, transmitiéndote una gran verdad del Padre. No escribiré más ahora, pero pronto lo haré.
(¿Qué es la cosa más grande del mundo?)
La oración y la fe por parte de los mortales; y el Amor, el amor divino, por parte de Dios. Este último espera, y las primeras hacen que penetre en las almas de los hombres.
Ninguna otra verdad es tan grande y trascendental para los hombres.
Permitid que lo que digo se grabe profundamente en vuestra memoria, e intentad el experimento. Sé que lo intentáis, pero intentadlo una y otra vez, y nunca dejéis de hacerlo. El amor os llegará, y con él la fe, y luego el conocimiento y luego la apropiación.
Podría escribir durante mucho tiempo, pero no debo, ya que estás cansado.
Así que, con mi amor y bendiciones, te deseo buenas noches, y que el amor del Padre tome posesión de ti.

Añade su testimonio y experiencia en el mundo espiritual – Jesús es el Gobernante de los Ámbitos Celestiales (Lot – del Antiguo Testamento)
Lot, del Antiguo Testamento.
Vengo porque ahora soy seguidor del Maestro y quiero sumar mi testimonio al de otros de los tiempos antiguos, que han dejado escrito que Jesús está vivo, que es el gobernante de los Ámbitos Celestiales, y que ahora opera entre los hombres y los espíritus para mostrarles el camino a la vida eterna y al amor divino del Padre.
No soy un hebreo que lo hubiera negado si yo hubiera vivido cuando él vino a la tierra, pues en mis pensamientos y creencias esperaba la venida del Mesías, y para mí Jesús fue ese Mesías con todas las cualidades y posesiones espirituales que esperaba que tuviera.
Claro que, cuando yo viví, no teníamos el privilegio de conocer el significado del amor divino del Padre; solo sabíamos que existía un Dios y que Dios nos amaba tal como lo considerábamos que lo hacía, como Su pueblo elegido, y que quería que viviéramos vidas correctas en la tierra, y que así recibiéramos Sus bendiciones como mortales, y todas las recompensas que una vida obediente pudiera brindarnos. Pero en cuanto a este Amor Mayor que nos convierte en ángeles a todos los que lo poseemos, no teníamos conocimiento, ni nuestros videntes o nuestros profetas nos habían enseñado que tal Amor existiera. Y, tal como ahora sé, el privilegio de obtenerlo no existía entonces; solo fue con la llegada de Jesús que ese Amor regresó al hombre y a los espíritus.
Pero Dios tenía para con nosotros un amor natural, en contraste [contradistinction] con el amor divino, y nosotros teníamos por Él un amor que, al purificarse por completo, nos convierte en espíritus con una felicidad que supera toda concepción de la felicidad humana. Pero ni siquiera esa felicidad nos fue enseñada, y en las enseñanzas de nuestros profetas tan solo veíamos ciertos vislumbres de que tal felicidad pudiera existir en la vida futura.
Yo amaba a Dios tal como entonces entendía lo que Dios era; pero ese amor no provenía de mi concepción de Él como un Padre tierno y amoroso, sino más bien como un Dios severo e iracundo, celoso, siempre vigilante y dispuesto a castigar la desobediencia a Sus mandatos. Y, sin embargo, también aprendimos que cuando Le obedecíamos y hacíamos Su voluntad, Él nos recompensaba.
Así que, como veis, el Dios de mis días y el Dios del presente, tal como Lo concebimos ahora, no son iguales. Y todos los hombres deberían ahora comprender y creer que Jesucristo reveló ─y con esto me refiero al conocimiento de los hombres─ la posibilidad de conocer al Verdadero Dios de Amor y Misericordia; y también [reveló al conocimiento de los hombres] que, gracias a ese Amor y a Su gran Misericordia, se volvió a otorgar a la humanidad la posibilidad de llegar a poseer el amor divino del Padre, lo que los haría uno con Él y les daría la certeza de la Inmortalidad.
Desde la venida de Jesús, pasaron muchos años antes de que yo recibiera este amor divino o creyera en las grandes verdades que Jesús enseñó. Estaba tan satisfecho con mi felicidad como espíritu, poseyendo únicamente este amor natural, purificado y liberado del pecado y el error, que pensaba que no podía haber mayor amor ni mayor felicidad. Pero, con el tiempo, tuve razones para pensar que podría existir otro amor, un amor mayor, operando en el mundo espiritual, debido a la maravillosa belleza y brillantez de algunos de los espíritus con los que a veces me encontraba. Comencé a investigar el asunto y, como resultado, descubrí este amor divino, y finalmente lo busqué y lo encontré. ¡Y qué tesoro hallé!
Ahora estoy tan lleno de él que mi felicidad supera toda concepción, no solo del hombre, sino también de los espíritus que viven en esferas inferiores a la mía.
No debo escribir más esta noche, pero te diré que soy uno de los muchos espíritus celestiales interesados y comprometidos ahora en la gran obra de la redención de la humanidad.
Jesús es nuestro líder, y todos lo seguimos en el esfuerzo por redimir al mundo, y con esto me refiero a los individuos que lo componen. Pues debes saber que la redención es un asunto individual y no algo que se pueda lograr redimiendo a una nación o raza en su conjunto.
Así que, como ves, detrás de esta obra está el gran poder de los ámbitos celestiales, así como de los espirituales.

Bueno, el incidente de mi esposa convirtiéndose en una estatua de sal es como muchos otros de los relatados en el Antiguo Testamento; estos incidentes son meras figuras retóricas utilizadas para ilustrar alguna verdad moral o espiritual. Mi esposa nunca se convirtió en sal, sino que murió de muerte natural y sus restos fueron enterrados donde los míos. Ahora ella también está en los Ámbitos Celestiales.

He Now Knows the Difference Between the Spirit Who Has In His Soul the Divine Love and One Who Has Not (Esau – Son of Isaac)
I AM HERE. Esau, Son of Isaac.
I was the son of Isaac and the brother of Jacob, and the one whom the Jews regarded as having sold his birthright for a mess of pottage, but I was misrepresented in this regard, as I did only that which necessity compelled me to do.
But all that is long past, and now I am an inhabitant of the Celestial Heavens, for in the world of spirits all things are made right, and I became a possessor of the Divine Love after I had received knowledge of its rebestowal at the coming of Jesus.
Many of the characters of the Old Testament have never yet realized this great transformation, because in their conception, of self righteousness, are contented in that conception, and worship God as they did on earth, although they have ceased to offer sacrifices of animals, because they have none in spirit life to offer, yet they still have the belief that sacrifice is necessary, and in their imaginations, they offer what to them is symbolical of the offerings that they made in the earth life.
Yes, that is quite a natural supposition, but you must know that mind and the beliefs of mortals continue with them when they become spirits and who will not permit themselves to be convinced of the errors of their conceptions of Deity, and many of these spirits of old, are in that condition now. They refuse to believe or even listen to the truths of existence and their relationship to God, as they did when on earth.
They have eyes, but they see not, and ears but they hear not, and enveloped in the darkness of their beliefs, they decline to let in the light, or to permit the truths* that are so apparent to others to illuminate their souls. A mind that is shut in by bigotry and intolerance is just as persistent after the mortal becomes a spirit even though a change in its surroundings in what you might call its physical existence and in its possibilities for learning the truth, yet many of these spirits, absolutely refuse to recognize any change or possibility of change in their spiritual condition. It is not surprising that you may not understand how it is possible that these spirits of the kind mentioned could live all this great period of years, as you estimate time, in this condition, surrounded by spirits* who have found the truth, and display that possession in their appearances and happiness, and especially by some of their old associates who have entered into the light, and not be influenced by these appearances and the experiences of these associates, but, nevertheless, it is true, and the difficulty of converting these bigoted spirits seems to grow the greater as they advance in their progression of mind and natural love. (*See Errata.)
They are happy in a relative sense and in their beliefs they can conceive of no other belief or cause of progress that could bring to them greater happiness; and besides they are firmly convinced that they are doing the will of God in their manner of worship and in their symbolical sacrifices.
These ancient spirits, as you call them, but who are young as compared to many in the spirit spheres, have their synagogues and temples of worship, and their priests and servants and worshipers according to their old beliefs. And the ceremonies attending their gatherings for worship are very little different from what they were on earth. They have all their vestments and attire and other accompaniments that on earth distinguished them from the common people, and they say their prayers in public and delight in appearing as holy spirits, the specially chosen of God, just as they did on earth, and as they are developing more and more in their natural love, and taking on the condition of perfection, so far as the perfection of the first parents as they existed before the fall, they may remain in this condition of belief as to their relationship to God, and as to their proper and only way to worship Him throughout all eternity.
They decline to receive the knowledge of the truth of the New Birth, and as that is a thing that is optional with them and its rejection does not prevent them from becoming the «perfect man,» as you have had explained to you, there is no absolute necessity as they think they should be born again in order to enable a restoration of the harmony of that condition and relationship that they may have to the Father.
Of course, until the day of the consummation of the Kingdom of the Celestial Spheres they will have the opportunity to become recipients of the Divine Love and the transformation into angels redeemed, but it is doubtful if very many of them will ever elect to accept this great privilege.
I am glad that I could write to you to-night, as it is a new experience with me, but one that gives me great satisfaction, and I will come again, if agreeable to you, and write further.
I wish to say in closing that I know the difference between the spirit who has in his soul the Divine Love, and one who has not, and that the mere time of a spirit’s existence in the spirit world, does not necessarily indicate that the spirit possesses the Divine Love. As Jesus said when on earth, «the first shall be last, and the last shall be first,» and I may add, that some will never be first or last, but only the reminders of what might have been.
I will not write more.

What is the Greatest Thing in All the World? (Solomon – of the Old Testament)
Solomon, of the Old Testament.
I come only to say, that very soon I desire to write you another message, conveying to you some great truth of the Father. I will not write more now, but will soon come.
(What is the greatest thing in all the world?)
Prayer and faith on the part of mortals; and Love – the Divine Love – on the part of God. The latter is waiting, and the former causes it to enter into the souls of men.
No other truths are so great and momentous to men.
Let what I say sink deep into your memory, and try the experiment. I know you do try, but try and then try and never cease trying. Love will come to you and with It faith, and then knowledge and then ownership.
I could write for a long time, yet, but I must not as you are tired.
So with my love and blessings, I will say good-night, and may the Father’s Love take possession of you.

Adds His Testimony and Experience in the Spirit World. – Jesus is the Ruler of the Celestial Heavens (Lot – of the Old Testament)
Lot, of the Old Testament.
I come because I now am a follower of the Master, and want to add my testimony to that of others of olden times who have written you that Jesus is alive and the ruler in the Celestial Heavens, and is now working among men and spirits to show them the way to eternal life, and the Divine Love of the Father.
I am not a Hebrew who would have denied him had I lived when he came to the earth for in my thoughts and belief, I expected the coming of the Messiah and to me Jesus was that Messiah in all the qualities and spiritual possessions that I expected him to have.
Of course, when I lived we had not the privilege of knowing what the Divine Love of the Father means, – we only knew that there was a God and that God loved us as we thought, as His chosen people and wanted us to live correct lives on earth, and thereby receive His blessings as mortals, and all the rewards that an obedient life might bring to us. But as to this Greater Love which makes angels of us all who possesses it, we had no knowledge, nor had we ever been taught by our seers or prophets that such a Love existed and as I now know the privilege of obtaining it did not then exist. Only with the coming of Jesus came that Love again to man and spirits.
But God had for us a natural love in contradistinction to the Divine Love and we had for Him a love which when fully purified makes us spirits with a happiness that is beyond all conception of human happiness. But even of that happiness we were not taught, and only did we have glimpses in the teachings of our prophets that such happiness might exist in the future life.
I was a lover of God as I then understood what God was; But such love was not that which arose from my conception of Him as a tender loving Father, but more as a stern wrathful God – one of jealousy and always watchful and ready to punish for disobedience to His commands. And yet we also learned that when we obeyed Him and did His will He would reward us.
So you see the God of my days and the God of the present, as we now conceive Him to be, are not similar. And all men should now understand and believe that Jesus Christ brought to light, and by that I mean to the knowledge of men, the possibility of their knowing the True God of Love and Mercy; and also, that because of that Love and His Great Mercy in the rebestowal upon mankind of the possibility of men becoming possessed of the Divine Love of the Father which would make them one with Him and certainty of Immortality.
It was long years after Jesus came, before I received this Divine Love or believed the great truths which Jesus taught. I was so satisfied in my happiness as a spirit possessing merely this natural love which had been purified and freed from sin and error, that I thought there could be no greater love or no greater happiness. But in the course of time I had reasons to think that there might be another if not greater love in operation in the spirit world, because of the wonderful beauty and brightness of some of the spirits that I at times met. And I started to make investigation of the matter, and as a result, I learned of this Divine Love, and at last sought for and found it. And what a treasure I found!
I am now so filled with it, that my happiness is beyond all conception of not only man, but of spirits who live in lower spheres than I do.
I must not write more to-night, but I will tell you that I am one of the many Celestial Spirits who are interested in and now are engaged in doing the great work for the redemption of mankind.
Jesus is our leader and we are all following him in the effort to redeem the world, and by that I mean the individuals who comprise the world. For you must know that redemption is an individual matter and not one that can be accomplished in the way of redeeming a nation or a race as a whole.
So you see back of this work is the great power of the Celestial as well as of the spiritual heavens.
I have written enough for to-night.
Well, the incident of my wife turning into a pillar of salt is like a great many others related in the Old Testament – these incidents are mere figures of speech used to illustrate some moral or spiritual truth. My wife was never turned into salt, but died a natural death and her remains were buried where mine were buried. She is now in the Celestial Heavens also.
So my dear brother, I must say good-night.
