San Pedro sobre el perdón de los pecados (29 noviembre 1918)
Permíteme escribirte unas líneas, pues tengo un gran interés en referirme a una verdad que prevalece en nuestro mundo espiritual y que quizás desconozcas.
Puede que no sepas que existe en nuestro mundo una ley que obliga al alma de quien aún no ha sido purificado a sufrir las penalizaciones por los actos pecaminosos y malvados de los que haya sido culpable durante su vida terrenal. Y no existe perdón para estos actos en el sentido en que lo enseñan los teólogos y las iglesias, sino que el único perdón es la cesación del recuerdo de estos actos, de modo que se vuelven como algo que nunca habría existido. Y, a medida que el alma se purifica naturalmente y se armoniza con las leyes de su creación, recupera su estado natural, y entonces, y solo entonces, tiene lugar el perdón.
Dios no perdona por el mero acto de declarar el perdón ni por ninguna eliminación arbitraria y repentina de los pecados, eliminando así la condición que crea la inarmonía. Y entonces comprenderás que Él no puede perdonar el pecado de esta manera, ni tampoco los papas, sacerdotes, maestros ni iglesias. Y el hecho de que estos hombres declaren el perdón constituye un engaño y una ofensa para quienes oran y piden perdón. Por tal engaño tendrán que responder cuando lleguen al mundo espiritual y constaten la verdad del perdón y el gran engaño que cometieron contra quienes eran sus seguidores y creyentes en estas falsas doctrinas. Muchos espíritus viven y sufren ahora en la oscuridad de sus purgatorios simplemente por sus creencias en estas enseñanzas engañosas, y por las consecuencias que conllevan.
No hay perdón hasta que el hombre haga el esfuerzo de luchar, y tenga éxito en su lucha, por deshacerse de estos recuerdos; y tal liberación solo puede lograrse si los hombres constatan el hecho de que el pecado es solo el efecto de haber hecho aquellas cosas, y de haber tenido aquellos pensamientos, que no están en armonía con la voluntad de Dios y con las leyes que rigen la creación del hombre.
No puede haber pecado en el cuerpo físico ni en el cuerpo espiritual, sino solo en el alma, causado por el ejercicio de la voluntad de manera antagónica a la voluntad del Padre. El cuerpo, por supuesto, se ve afectado por estos pensamientos inarmónicos y por las directrices impulsoras de la voluntad, y es por ello llevado a cometer el acto que es la manifestación externa del ejercicio inarmónico de la voluntad; y así como Dios deja para el hombre la libertad de ejercer su voluntad, ya que ésta puede verse influenciada por pensamientos, deseos y afectos de sus apetitos y concupiscencias [lusts], así, Dios también deja para el hombre la aplicación de los remedios que liberarán al alma de la influencia y de los efectos causados por este ejercicio de la voluntad. Y es sólo cuando estos pensamientos, apetitos y concupiscencias se eliminan de su alma y de sus deseos, que el alma vuelve a su condición natural y a la armonía con la voluntad de Dios.
El hombre, por sí mismo, ha de ser el actor y la fuerza iniciadora que genere estos cambios en su voluntad, y ninguna garantía de perdón por parte de papas, sacerdotes o iglesias puede erradicar estas influencias contaminantes, ni eliminar lo que es la causa del pecado o el efecto de la causa. Debes comprender que no puede haber relación alguna entre la garantía de perdón, y el pecado o su causa.
Se supone que la oración al Padre pidiendo perdón, o la súplica a los sacerdotes y a la iglesia, logran los objetivos buscados; pero esta creencia es errónea y no brinda el alivio por el que se ora. Sin embargo, la oración es un elemento muy importante para el perdón, y aunque el Padre no perdone los pecados de la manera mencionada, ni tampoco los sacerdotes ni la iglesia puedan hacerlo, la oración verdadera y sincera al Padre pidiendo perdón traerá su respuesta, y afectará, no al pecado, sino al alma y al estado de los hombres, de modo que su voluntad, apetitos y deseos puedan verse influenciados de tal manera que reciban y constaten el hecho de una ayuda maravillosa a la hora de cambiar estos apetitos y deseos, y a la hora de dirigir sus pensamientos hacia aquellas cosas que les permitan eliminar de sus recuerdos los actos y los pensamientos, que son la causa de que sus almas existan en estado de pecado.
Si los hombres tan solo comprendieran estas verdades y, cuando desean el perdón de sus pecados, rezaran al Padre pidiendo ayuda para apartarse de estos pensamientos y ejercer su voluntad conforme a la Suya, sin esperar un perdón arbitrario ni una arbitraria eliminación de sus pecados, se encontrarían en el camino hacia esta condición de olvido y al verdadero perdón.

Jesús – El maravilloso poder que puede recibir el sr. Padgett si tan solo tiene fe (26 septiembre 1915)
Estoy aquí, Jesús.
Me alegra que estés mucho mejor esta noche y que tus pensamientos estén puestos en las cosas más elevadas sobre las que tanto deseo escribirte.
Juan te ha hablado con verdad sobre la fe que debes buscar obtener, y que puedes obtener si tan solo oras al Padre con total fervor sincero y confianza. La fe de Elías no es diferente ni mayor que la que puedes obtener si te acercas al Padre mediante la oración, como él lo hizo. El Padre es tan Padre tuyo como lo fue suyo, y tu misión es mayor que la suya.
Yo soy Jesús, el verdadero hijo de Dios, y estoy más cerca de Él que cualquier otro espíritu, y conozco la magnitud de Su amor y Su poder mucho mejor que cualquier otro espíritu; y te digo, con la autoridad que mi amor y conocimiento me dan, que puedes obtener una fe que te permita obrar maravillas más grandes que las de Elías.
Confía plenamente en mí, y tu fe se fortalecerá tanto que la liberación de las preocupaciones y los afanes surgirá en ti como la luz del sol tras las nubes oscuras y amenazantes, bañando todo el paisaje en luz y belleza.
Pronto debes reanudar la toma de mis mensajes, y sintonizar tu alma con las influencias que te traeré.
Bien, recibirás ayuda, como te prometí, y no debes dudar más de mí. Sé que consideras tu indignidad como el gran obstáculo para el cumplimiento de mi obra, pero si te digo que eres digno, no tienes derecho a decir lo contrario, ni a sentir que me equivoco al elegirte, o que estés siendo engañado en esta comunicación.
Soy Jesús, el jefe del Mundo Celestial que mi Padre me ha dado, y nadie puede contradecir ni impedir lo que hago o decido hacer. Esto debes creer, y sobre esa creencia guiar todos tus actos.
Así pues, de ahora en adelante, recuerda que te he elegido como mi discípulo de esta Nueva Revelación.
Pero al adquirir esta fe, adquiere también más del Amor Divino del Padre, pues este es el gran poder que te convertirá en el discípulo que pretendo que seas.
Reza al Padre y confía en mí, pues mi amor por ti es ilimitado, y mi cuidado por ti aumentará hasta que todo se vea cumplido.
Te he escrito este mensaje enfático y con autoridad, esta noche, para que sepas que no hay duda de que yo, Jesús, te he elegido, y que no debes volver a dudar de que tu misión sea tal como te he dicho.

Jesús mostró su gloria (26 septiembre 1915)
Estoy aquí, Helen.
Bueno, cariño, ahora debes estar convencido sin lugar a dudas de que eres el elegido del Maestro para realizar su obra.
Era Jesús quien te escribió, y nunca antes lo había visto con una expresión tan majestuosa y de tanta autoridad en su rostro. Debió de ser una mirada similar a la que tuvo cuando, ante la tumba de Lázaro, dijo: «Lázaro, sal fuera». El poder y la determinación estaban presentes en sus palabras, y se reflejaban en su rostro, y quienes estamos aquí nunca antes habíamos sentido la maravillosa autoridad que posee. Siempre, antes, había simplemente amor, humildad y gracia, pero cuando te decía lo que te dijo, todo parecía estar subordinado a esta autoridad y poder regios que manifestaba.
Nunca antes había visto esta faceta de sus atributos, y todos sentimos que estábamos en presencia, si no de Dios, al menos de la figura más poderosa de todo el universo de Dios.
Puedo imaginarme que su ira, si alguna vez tuviera la oportunidad de manifestarla, sería terrible y devastadora.
Así pues, querido, ya no debes dudar ni vacilar en cuanto a cuál ha de ser tu obra, ni en cuanto al gran poder que te respaldará al realizar su obra.

Confirma que Jesús mostró su gloria, Poder y autoridad al escribir a través del sr. Padgett, y las maravillosas bendiciones y fe que le pueden llegar a éste (27 septiembre 1915)
Estoy aquí, San Juan, apóstol de Jesús.
Estoy aquí de nuevo, tan pronto, porque quiero ayudarte a creer en lo que el Maestro te escribió sobre tu misión y la obra que te ha elegido para realizar.
Sé que te cuesta creer que la comunicación proviniera realmente de Jesús, pero debo decirte que él escribió el mensaje, y que lo que recibiste y escribiste realmente lo dijo él, y, al hacerlo, era un rey, así como un amoroso salvador; y que era el mismo que hasta ahora te parecía ser ese hermano amoroso y bondadoso que es.
No debes dudar de que él te escribió tal como lo recibiste, y de que te ha elegido como su discípulo para realizar esta gran obra de recibir y transmitir a la humanidad las maravillosas verdades que él escribirá.
Cuando me eligió como su discípulo en la tierra, tuve mis dudas, al igual que tú; y fue solo después de haber tenido un estrecho contacto y asociación con él, y de haber visto su maravilloso poder y su gran amor cautivador [absorbing], que mis dudas se disiparon. Aunque tú no puedas verlo como yo sí podía, ni oír su voz de amor y bendiciones como yo sí podía, podrás sentir su amor y constatar su presencia.
Cuando te dijo que ya no debías dudar de la elección que ha hecho de ti para esta obra, él era un espíritu magnífico en su faceta de poder y autoridad; y quienes lo veíamos mientras te contaba estas cosas, reconocíamos que él era el Jesús que nos guió por Galilea y que realizó aquellas maravillas que hizo, así como también el gran Jesús que nos dio el conocimiento y la manera de obtener los poderes para sanar a los enfermos, abrir los ojos a los ciegos y resucitar a los que parecían muertos.
Su presencia era la de un verdadero dios, pues parecía poseedor de todo poder y autoridad, así como de amor y gracia. Los espíritus presentes ─que nunca antes habían visto manifestadas estas cualidades de su naturaleza─ quedaron atónitos y, al igual que Pedro, Santiago y yo mismo en el Monte de la Transfiguración, cayeron de bruces ante el extraordinario brillo de su rostro y la gloria de su poder, que iluminaban todo su ser.
Cuando acude a esferas inferiores respecto a aquella en la que él vive, tal como lo diríais, deja tras de sí este gran brillo y gloria, y aparece únicamente como un hermoso y amoroso espíritu hermano. Y los espíritus que estuvieron presentes cuando él te escribía, nunca antes habían visto la maravillosa e inspiradora apariencia que mostró en ese momento.
Te digo que eres un mortal muy favorecido, y, cuando crezca tu fe, comprenderás qué maravillosa misión se te ha encomendado.
Ahora todos estamos más interesados en ti que nunca, y continuamente tendrás a tu alrededor a algunos de los elevados espíritus celestiales para ayudarte e iluminarte en esta gran obra; pero el más grande de todos será el Maestro, pues él estará contigo a menudo.
Ahora debes esforzarte por alcanzar la plenitud de este Amor Divino y de la fe, que tan necesario es que alcances. No hay duda de que lo obtendrás si tan solo oras. Y debo decirte que cuentas con las oraciones de una multitud de Espíritus Celestiales, elevándose continuamente hacia el Padre para que esta fe te sea concedida en su máximo grado. Yo, Juan, te digo esto porque lo sé, y mi conocimiento se basa en hechos.
Así que eleva tus oraciones al Padre y permite que tu confianza en el Maestro y en sus promesas aumente, hasta que finalmente puedas constatar las maravillosas bendiciones que pueden ser tuyas.
No escribiré más esta noche, pero sí te diré que muy pronto las preocupaciones desaparecerán y estarás en condiciones de retomar los escritos. Con mi amor y bendiciones, soy tu hermano en Cristo,

A. G. Riddle, maravillado tras ver a Jesús mostrando tanto brillo y poder (27 septiembre 1915)
Estoy aquí, tu antiguo compañero.
Sólo escribiré unas líneas esta noche, pues me siento tan maravillado por lo que ocurrió anoche, cuando Jesús te escribió, que no me siento capaz de ordenar mis pensamientos para escribir por extenso. Quiero decir que, para mí, lo que sucedió fue la mayor revelación en cuanto al carácter, o, mejor dicho, los atributos de Jesús, que haya visto desde que estoy en el mundo espiritual.
Cuando te escribió con su tono enfático y de autoridad, se transformó en un ser de una luz, gloria y poder tales, que ninguno de nosotros podía mirar su semblante, y tuvimos que postrarnos para ocultar el resplandor de su presencia. Te digo que fue una maravillosa evidencia de su grandeza y poder. Nunca antes lo había visto revestido de tales resplandor y poder. Siempre fue el más hermoso, brillante y magnífico de todos los espíritus, pero nunca antes se manifestaron en él esas apariencias que nos hicieron pensar que debía ser un verdadero dios.
Ahora sé, como nunca antes, que él es el verdadero hijo de Dios, y que merece ser seguido y creído. Qué espíritu tan maravilloso es. Todo amor, poder y grandeza, y, a la vez, todo humildad. Nunca imaginé que semejante combinación de atributos pudiera existir en un mismo espíritu.
Bueno, mi chico, ya no puedo decir mucho más, salvo que me sorprendes cada vez más por el gran favor y bendiciones que te han sido conferidos. Todos estamos asombrados de ello, pero, por supuesto, felices por este hecho.
Debes esforzarte al máximo por hacer esta obra y cumplir la misión para la que has sido elegido.
Qué Jesús tan maravilloso. No puedo evitar pensar en él y en la grandeza de su ser. Me alegra mucho haberlo visto tal como se veía cuando escribió, porque ahora me hago una cierta idea de lo que deben ser la gloria y la grandeza de los altos Ámbitos Celestiales y de sus habitantes.

La abuela del sr. Padgett confirma que Jesús escribió y mostró su gloria y poder (27 septiembre 1915)
Estoy aquí para hablarte de la gloria de mi Maestro.
Hasta ahora, te hemos escrito principalmente sobre su amor, belleza y humildad, pero hemos hablado muy poco de su grandeza y la gloria de su semblante cuando permitió que estos atributos aparecieran en toda su plenitud y esplendor. Y esto era razonable, porque hasta anoche nunca habíamos visto este gran brillo y gloria.
Estoy en las Esferas Celestiales, pero él nunca antes mostró las maravillas de su amor y poderes a mí, ni a otros en mi esfera, ni tampoco a los de las esferas inferiores. Pero anoche ─oh, qué gloria─ vino a ti para escribirte y, al hacerlo, al hablarte de cuál es tu misión, asumió la autoridad y el poder que le corresponden, y en su semblante y en su mismo ser aparecieron esa maravillosa gloria y brillo que lo hacían algo distinto a otros espíritus.
He visto las glorias de las Esferas Celestiales en las que vivo, y son tan magníficas y maravillosas que jamás he podido describírtelas; pero son como una mera sombra en comparación con la gloria que rodeó al Maestro, y que emanaba de él, cuando se mostró tal como digo. Quedamos hechizados, tal como lo decís, y solo pudimos contemplarlo por un instante; y así, bien puedo imaginarme cómo sus tres discípulos cayeron de bruces en el momento de la transfiguración en el Monte.
No puedo describirte su grandeza y brillo, pero vuestro sol parecería como un pálido rayo de luz de luna en su presencia. Y qué agradecida estoy de haberlo visto tal como es, pues ello me muestra cuál debe ser la maravillosa gloria y belleza de la esfera en la que vive, y a la que me esfuerzo por llegar. Gracias a Dios, el Maestro dice que puedo llegar a ser una moradora de ella si tan solo rezo, tengo fe y permito que el Amor Divino entre en mi alma con la suficiente abundancia.
Cuando pienso en todas las cosas maravillosas que han girado en torno a ti, en tus comunicaciones con el mundo espiritual, simplemente tengo que asombrarme, fascinada, y preguntarme cómo es que tales cosas suceden. La única explicación que puedo dar es que eres el objeto especial del deseo del Maestro para que su obra en la tierra se lleve a cabo tal como él lo ha declarado.
Mi querido hijo, no debes dudar de nuevo sobre lo que harás para llevar a cabo la obra del Maestro. Tu llamado es seguro y debes creer, y confiando, realiza esta gran tarea con todas tus fuerzas y poderes que te serán dados. Y permíteme decirte, más aún, que debes convertirla en una obra de amor.
Reza al Padre por fe y la tendrás, y confía en el Maestro y nunca serás abandonado.

St. Peter on forgiveness of sin (29 Nov 1918)
Let me write a few lines for I am very anxious to write you in reference to a truth which obtains in our spirit world, and with which you may not be acquainted.
As you may not know there is in our world a law which makes the soul of one who has not yet been purified suffer the penalties for the acts of sin and evil of which he may have been guilty during his earth life; and there is no forgiveness of these acts in the sense that forgiveness is taught by the theologians and churches, but the only forgiveness is the cessation of recollection of these acts so that they become as though they had never been; and, as the soul becomes naturally pure and in harmony with the laws of its creation, it then comes into its natural condition, and then, and then only, forgiveness takes place.
God does not forgive by the mere act of pronouncing forgiveness or by any arbitrary and sudden blotting exit of sins, and thereby removing the condition which creates the inharmony; and so you will understand, that He cannot forgive sin in this way, neither can the popes, priests, teachers or churches, and the pronouncing of forgiveness by these men constitutes a deception of and an injury to the persons who pray and ask for forgiveness, and for such deception these men will have to answer when they come to the spirit world and realize the truth of forgiveness and the great deception that they had practiced upon those who were their followers and believers in these false doctrines. Many spirits are now living and suffering in darkness in their purgatories just because of their beliefs, and the results thereof, in these misleading teachings.
There is no forgiveness until man makes the effort by struggling and succeeding in getting rid of these recollections; and such riddance can be obtained only by men realizing the fact that sin is only the effect of their having done those things, and thought those thoughts which are out of harmony with the will of God and the laws governing the creation of man.
There can be no sinning of the physical body or of the spirit body, but only of the soul caused by the exercise of the will in a manner antagonistic to the will of the Father. The body, of course, is affected by these inharmonious thoughts and impelling directions of the will, and is caused thereby to commit the act which is the external demonstrator of the inharmonious exercise of the will; and as God leaves to man the freedom of exercising his will, as such will may be influenced by the thoughts, desires and affections of his appetites and lusts, so God leaves to man the application of the remedies that will free the soul from such influence and effects as are caused by this exercise of the will; and only when these thoughts and appetites and lusts become eliminated from his soul and desires, does the soul come into its natural condition and in harmony with the will of God.
Man, himself, must be the actor and the initiating force to bring about these changes in his will, and no assurances of forgiveness by popes, priests or churches can eradicate these contaminating influences, or remove that which is the cause of the sin or the effect of the cause. You must see that there can be no relationship between the assurance of forgiveness and the sin or the cause thereof.
Prayer to the Father for forgiveness or supplication to priests and church is supposed to effectuate the objects sought, but this belief is erroneous and does not bring the relief prayed for; yet prayer is a very important element in forgiveness, and while the Father does not, and the priests and church cannot, forgive sin in the manner mentioned, yet true, sincere prayer to the Father for forgiveness will bring its answer, and affect, not the sin, but the soul and state of men, so that their will and appetites and desires may be influenced in such a way that they will receive and realize the fact of a wonderful help in changing these appetites and desires, and in turning their thoughts to those things that will enable them to remove from their recollections the acts and thoughts, which are the causes of the existence of their souls in a state of sin.
If men would only realize these truths, and, when they desire the forgiveness of their sins, pray to the Father for help in turning away from these thoughts and in exercising their will in accord with His will and not expect any arbitrary forgiveness or removal of their sins, they would find themselves on the way to this forgetfulness and the true forgiveness.
Well, I desired to write this short message and am pleased that I could do so. Thanking you, I will say, good night.

Jesus – The wonderful power that may come to Mr. Padgett if he will only have sufficient faith (26 Sep 1915)
I AM HERE, Jesus.
I am glad that you are so much better tonight and that your thoughts are turned to the higher things of which I so much want to write you.
John has told you truly of the faith which you must seek to obtain, and which you may obtain if you will only pray to the Father with all earnestness and confidence. Elijah’s faith is no different and no greater than what you may obtain if you will come close to the Father by prayer, as he did. The Father is as much your Father as He was his, and your mission is a greater one than was his.
I am the Jesus who is the true son of God, and am closer to Him than is any other spirit, and know the extent of His Love and power to a greater degree than does any other spirit; and I tell you with the authority that my love and knowledge gives me, that you may obtain a faith that will enable you to perform greater wonders than did Elijah.
Trust me implicitly and your faith will grow so strong that your freedom from worries and cares will come to you as the sunlight breaks from behind dark and threatening clouds and bathes the whole landscape in light and beauty.
You must soon now resume my message taking, and attune your soul to the influences which I will bring to you.
Well, you will receive help, as I have promised and you must not doubt me longer. I know that you consider your unworthiness as the great stumbling block to the performance of my work, but if I say that you are worthy, you have no right to say otherwise, or to feel that I am mistaken in choosing you, or that you are being deceived in this communication.
I am Jesus, the chief of the Heavenly World which my Father has given me, and there is none to gainsay or prevent what I do or determine to do. This you must believe, and on that belief guide all your acts.
So forever hereafter, know that I have chosen you for my disciple of this New Revelation.
But with the acquiring of this faith also acquire more of the Divine Love of the Father, for this is the great power which will develop you into the disciple that I intend you to be.
Pray to the Father and trust me, for my love for you is without limit, and my care for you shall be increasing until all shall be accomplished.
I have written this emphatic and authoritative message to you tonight, that you may know that there is no uncertainty that I, Jesus, have chosen you, and you must not again doubt that your mission is as I have told you.

Jesus showed his glory (26 Sep 1915)
I AM HERE, Helen.
Well, sweetheart, now you must be satisfied beyond all doubt that you are the chosen one of the Master to do his work.
It was Jesus who was writing to you, and never before have I seen him with such a royal and authoritative expression on his face. It must have been just such a look as he had when before the tomb of Lazarus he said: «Lazarus come forth.» Power and determination were in his words and stamped on his face, and we who are here never before felt the wonderful authority which he has. Always before, were only love, and humility and grace, but when he told you what he did, everything seemed to be subordinated to this regal power and authority, which he showed forth.
I never before had seen this phase of his attributes, and we all felt that we were standing in the presence of – if not God – then of the mightiest personage in all God’s universe.
I can well imagine that his wrath, should he ever have occasion to show it, would be terrible and withering.

I AM HERE, St. John, apostle of Jesus.
I am here again so soon, because I want to help you believe in what the Master wrote you as to your mission, and the work that he has chosen you to do.
I know it is difficult for you to believe that the communication actually came from Jesus, but I must tell you that he wrote the message, and that what you received and wrote he actually said, and in doing so he was the king as well as the loving savior who heretofore appeared to you as the loving and kindly brother that he is.
You must not doubt that he wrote you just as you received it, and that he has selected you for his disciple to do this great work of receiving and transmitting to mankind the wonderful truths which he shall write.
When he selected me as his disciple on earth I had my doubts as you have yours, and it was only after I came in close personal contact and association with him and saw the wonderful power that he had as well as the great absorbing love, did my doubts leave me. While you cannot see him as I did, and hear his voice of love and blessings as I did, yet your will be able to feel his love and realize his presence.
When he told you that you must doubt no longer as to your being selected for this work, he was a magnificent spirit in his aspect of power and authority, and we who saw him as he told you these things, knew that he was the Jesus who led us through Galilee and performed the wonderful things that he did, and also the great Jesus who gave to us the knowledge and the way to obtain the powers to heal the sick, and open the eyes of the blind and raise the apparent dead.
His presence was that of a very god, for he seemed possessed of all power and authority as well as of love and grace. The spirits who were present and who had never seen these qualities of his nature displayed before, were awestruck, and like Peter and James and myself on the Mount of Transfiguration, fell to their faces because of the exceeding brightness of his countenance and the glory of his power which illuminated his whole being.
When he comes into the spheres lower than that in which he lives, as you would say, he leaves behind him this great brightness and glory, and appears only as a beautiful loving brother spirit. And never before had those spirits who were present when he wrote you, seen the wonderful and inspiring appearance which he then showed.
I tell you that you are a very favored mortal, and when your faith grows, you will realize what a wonderful mission has been given you to carry out.
Now we are all more interested in you than ever and continually will you have around you some of the high celestial spirits to aid and enlighten you in doing this great work, but the greatest of all will be the Master, for he will be with you often.
Now you must strive to attain to the fullness of this Divine Love and the faith which is so necessary. There is no doubt as to your getting it if you will only pray; and I must tell you here, that you have the prayers of a host of Celestial Spirits ascending continually to the Father that this faith may be given you in its greatest degree. I, John, tell you this, because I know, and my knowledge is based on fact.
So let your prayers go to the Father, and let your trust in the Master and his promises increase, until at last you may realize the wonderful blessings that may be yours.

I AM HERE, your old partner.
I will write only a few lines tonight, as I am in such a condition of wonderment over what took place when Jesus was writing to you last night that I do not feel able to gather my thoughts for extended writing. I want to say that what happened was to me the greatest revelation as to the character or rather the attributes of Jesus that I have seen since I have been in the spirit world.
When he wrote to you in his emphatic and authoritative manner, he became transformed into such a being of light and glory and power that none of us could look upon his countenance, and we had to fall upon our faces to hide the brightness of his presence. I tell you it was a wonderful evidence of his greatness and power. Never before had I seen him clothed in such brightness and power. He was always the most beautiful and bright and magnificent of all the spirits, but never was there displayed in him before those appearances which made us think that he must be a very god.
I now know as never before that he is the true son of God and that he is worthy to follow and believe in. What a wonderful spirit he is. All love and power and greatness, and yet all humility. Such a combination of attributes I had no conception could ever exist in the same spirit.
Well my boy, I cannot say much more now, except that you surprise me more and more because of the great favor and blessings you have had conferred upon you. We are all amazed over it, but of course, happy over the fact.
You must try your best to do this work, and fulfill the mission for which you have been chosen.
What a wonderful Jesus. I cannot help thinking of him and the greatness of his being. I am so glad that I saw him as he appeared when he wrote, because now I have some conception of what the glory and grandeur of the high Celestial Heavens and their inhabitants must be.
I will not write more tonight, for I cannot think of anything just now, but of the glory of the Master. I am your old partner,

I am here to tell you of my Master’s glory.
Heretofore, we have written you mostly of his love and beauty and humility, but said very little of his grandeur and the glory of his countenance when he permitted these attributes to appear in all their fullness and splendor. And this was reasonable, because until last night we had never seen this great brightness and glory.
I am in the Celestial Spheres, but he never before displayed the wonders of his love and powers to me or to others in my sphere, and neither to those in the lower spheres. But last night – oh, the glory of it – he came to you to write and in doing so, when he told you what your mission is, he assumed the authority and power which are his, and there came into his countenance and very being that wonderful glory and brightness which made him a being from other spirits, apart.
I have seen the glories of the Celestial Spheres in which I live, and they are so magnificent and wonderful that I have never been able to describe them to you; but they are as a mere shadow to the glory that surrounded and came from the Master when he appeared as I say. We were spellbound as you say, and could look upon him but for a moment only; and I can well imagine how his three disciples fell upon their faces at the time of the transfiguration on the Mount.
I cannot describe to you his grandeur and brightness, but your sun would appear as a pale moonbeam in his presence. And how thankful that I saw him as he is, for it shows me what must be the wonderful glory and beauty of the sphere in which he lives, and to which I am striving to attain, and thanks be to God, the Master says I may become a dweller therein if I will only pray and have faith and let the Divine Love come into my soul in sufficient abundance.
When I think of all the wonderful things that have centered around you in your communications with the spirit world, I simply have to wonder in amazement, and think why such things should be. The only explanation that I can give is that you are the special object of the Master’s desire to have his work on earth carried forth in the way that he has declared.
My dear son, you must not doubt again as to what you shall do in the way of performing the work of the Master. Your call is certain and you must believe, and believing, do with all your strength and the powers that will be given you, this great task. And let me say further, you must make it a work of love.
Pray to the Father for faith and you will get it, and trust in the Master and you will never be forsaken.
I cannot write more tonight, as I want to think of the wonderful scene of last night.
