Y dijo que no hay otra salvación que la sangre de Jesús.
Cuán equivocado está, y cómo encontrará la verdad al despertar en la vida espiritual.
Que no se turbe tu corazón ni se tambalee tu fe en el Maestro por nada de lo que él o cualquier otra persona pueda decir.
Estuve en la reunión y lo que dijo el predicador estuvo bien, excepto que debáis creer que solo la sangre salva del pecado. No, no lo dijo con tantas palabras, pero eso era lo que pretendía transmitir con su sermón.
Soy San Juan.
Nunca dije que la sangre de Jesús salva del pecado, ni tampoco lo dijo Jesús ni ninguno de sus apóstoles.
Que esta conversación no te haga dudar ni por un instante de lo que te hemos escrito.
Así que me detendré aquí, y solo diré que todos estamos contigo y queremos que creas firmemente en lo que te podamos escribir.
Sí, lamento decir que esa es su creencia, y qué gran error cometen y qué gran despertar será para ellos cuando conozcan la verdad. Así que cree y confía,

Juan – Importancia de la oración para que el alma se desarrolle y las obras sigan (5 octubre 1915)
Estoy aquí, Juan, apóstol de Jesús.
Soy el apóstol, y no necesitas ponerme a prueba, como dijo tu amigo, pues ningún espíritu puede hacerse pasar por mí cuando estoy presente.
Así que debes creerme y tratar de recibir con fe lo que escriba esta noche, y verás que serás beneficiado.
Vine principalmente para decirte que he estado escuchando la conversación entre vosotros dos, y la charla sobre el Sermón del Monte, que el Maestro nos dio hace mucho tiempo, como diríais vosotros.
Cuando se produjo ese sermón, no estábamos en un estado de gran desarrollo espiritual, y no comprendíamos su significado en un sentido profundo; y, en cuanto a su significado literal, pensábamos que no estaba destinado a los asuntos prácticos de la vida. Sé que la gente piensa que en aquel entonces estábamos muy desarrollados espiritualmente y comprendíamos las grandes verdades enseñadas por el Maestro, superiores a las que los hombres tienen ahora; pero te digo que esto es un error. Éramos hombres relativamente ignorantes, de profesión pescadores, y no teníamos ninguna educación superior a la del trabajador común de aquella época. Cuando Jesús nos llamó a ser sus apóstoles, nos sorprendimos y dudamos tanto como tú cuando se te anunció una misión similar.
Nuestro conocimiento provino de nuestra fe en las grandes verdades que enseñaba el Maestro, y de nuestra observación de los grandes poderes que manifestó, así como también de la influencia del Gran Amor que poseía. Pero la humanidad se equivoca cuando cree que comprendíamos fácilmente las grandes verdades que él enseñaba. Fue sólo tras el descenso del Espíritu Santo sobre nosotros en Pentecostés que llegamos a estar plenamente en consonancia con el Padre, o a apreciar plenamente las grandes verdades que el Maestro había enseñado.
Claro que aprendimos muchas cosas que los hombres de aquel tiempo desconocían, y nuestras almas se desarrollaron en gran medida, pero no lo suficiente como para llegar al conocimiento del maravilloso significado de las verdades que liberaron a los hombres y los llevaron al acuerdo con el Padre. En vuestra conversación de esta noche tratasteis sobre el valor relativo de la oración y de las obras, y no estábais de acuerdo con el predicador en que las obras sean lo más grande a la hora de desarrollar a los hombres en el amor y traer gran felicidad al mundo, y que la oración no tenga tanta importancia.
Ahora bien, permíteme decir, como espíritu y como hombre que trabajó y oró en la tierra, y con la autoridad que surge de la experiencia real y del conocimiento que proviene de la observación, que de todas las cosas importantes en la tierra para quienes buscan la salvación, la felicidad y el desarrollo del alma, la oración es la más importante, pues la oración trae del Padre no solo Amor y bendiciones, sino también la condición mental y de intención que hará que los hombres realicen las grandes obras que el predicador les aconsejaba realizar.
La oración es la causa del poder que se otorga a los hombres para que puedan realizar todas las grandes obras que traerán recompensa al que las realiza, y felicidad y beneficio al que las recibe.
Así pues, como veis, los resultados nunca pueden ser tan grandes como la causa, pues en este caso la causa no sólo da a los hombres la capacidad de obrar, sino también de amar, desarrollar su alma e inspirarlos con pensamientos buenos y verdaderos. Las obras son deseables, y en algunos casos necesarias, pero la oración es absolutamente indispensable. Entonces, que tú y tu amigo entendáis y nunca dudéis de que, sin la oración, las obras de los hombres serían inútiles para lograr el gran bien que incluso ahora el hombre realiza por su hermano.
Orad, y las obras vendrán. Obrad, y entonces puede ser que hagáis el bien pero sin que el alma se beneficie, porque Dios es un Dios que responde a la oración mediante la ministración de Sus ángeles y la influencia de Su Espíritu Santo, que obra en la parte interior o real del hombre.
Me detendré ya.

Ann Rollins – La sangre de Jesús no salva del pecado (5 septiembre 1915)
También diré unas palabras.
Soy tu querida abuela.
Vine a decirte que ahora sé que la sangre de Jesús no salva del pecado. Recordarás cómo, cuando estaba en la tierra, creía en esta doctrina errónea. Cómo solía hablar de que la preciosa sangre de Jesús podía salvar de todo pecado, y cantar con todo mi corazón y fe el antiguo himno: «Hay una fuente llena de sangre», y demás. Y bien, ahora sé que esa creencia es completamente errónea, y que Jesús está muy deseoso de que los hombres aprendan que es un gran error y un obstáculo para el progreso del alma.
Por supuesto, sé que la gran mayoría de los que ahora viven nunca creerán, hasta que lleguen al mundo espiritual, que este dicho de la Biblia es erróneo. Pero si tan solo se les pudiera enseñar a abandonar esta creencia y confiar completamente en el Amor Divino para su salvación mientras están en la tierra, cuánto más fácil sería su progreso cuando vengan.
Así que, como ves, aunque muchos dicen que una creencia no significa gran cosa, yo les digo que causa más infelicidad y retrasa el progreso de los espíritus mucho más que cualquier otra cosa.
Sé que solo el Amor Divino del Padre salva del pecado y aúna a los mortales con Él. Por lo tanto, en vuestro trabajo por el Maestro, tendréis que hacer grandes esfuerzos para que la gente abandone esta creencia en la sangre y se dirijan hacia la verdad del Nuevo Nacimiento. Muchos ortodoxos se opondrán a vuestros esfuerzos y se negarán a creer lo que les digáis que es la verdad, pero muchos creerán y buscarán este Nuevo Nacimiento, y encontrarán la paz y la felicidad de un alma cuyos pecados han sido perdonados.

Saúl – Consejos para su pueblo, los judíos. (1 junio 1917)
Estoy aquí, Saúl:
Solo diré unas palabras, ya que es tarde y tu esposa dice que no debo escribir mucho.
Bueno, hace mucho que no te escribo y deseo mucho escribirte un mensaje sobre algunas verdades espirituales importantes que sé que te interesarán; y si me das la oportunidad, vendré pronto a hacerlo.
Me intereso en los judíos, y deseo compartir con ellos algunas verdades que puedan abrirles la mente al camino hacia el Reino Celestial y hacerles dejar de creer que sus antiguas creencias ortodoxas en su padre Abraham y en el Dios del Antiguo Testamento son todo lo necesario para llevarlos a la presencia del Dios verdadero.
Comprendo que será difícil escribir algo que los convenza de los errores de sus creencias, pero lo intentaré y oraré al Padre para que les abra el entendimiento.
Los acontecimientos que tienen lugar en los países donde la guerra está azotando ahora tendrán su efecto tanto en los judíos como en los cristianos y los paganos, y deseo que, en su consciencia despertada, puedan recibir el beneficio de la verdad. Así que, si me das la oportunidad, vendré pronto a escribir.
Me gustaría decir algunas cosas más, pero es mejor que no lo haga esta noche y me detendré.

Samuel comparte su experiencia en los cielos espirituales y su progreso hacia el Reino Celestial (5 agosto 1915)
Estoy aquí, Samuel. Soy Samuel el profeta.
Quiero decirte que estoy en condiciones de hablarte de mi existencia aquí en el mundo espiritual y de lo que sé sobre las verdades de las doctrinas de Jesús, tal como las he aprendido desde que me convertí en alguien que posee el Amor Divino que él trajo a la tierra y al mundo de los espíritus.
He vivido muchísimos años en esta vida espiritual, más de lo que podrías pensar por el relato de mi vida terrenal contenido en el Antiguo Testamento, pues ese libro no indica correctamente la época en que viví como mortal. Han pasado muchos miles de años desde que viví y realicé mi labor como profeta y maestro en la tierra, y en todos estos largos años he aprendido mucho sobre el mundo espiritual, sus condiciones y leyes.
En primer lugar, no soy un espíritu que se hubiera entregado a los males [evils] a los que suelen estar sujetos los hombres cuando se convierten en espíritus, porque cuando viví en la tierra, estuve muy cerca del Padre en sus pensamientos y amor. Me refiero al amor que Él daba al hombre en aquel entonces. Este amor, si bien no era el Amor Divino, era suficiente para hacer felices a los hombres cuando lo poseían libre de pecado y de error, y cuando procuraban hacer la voluntad del Padre tal como la entendían. Muchos hombres creían comprender esta voluntad, cuando en realidad sólo conocían lo que las leyes de Moisés les enseñaban que era correcto ante Dios. Pero algunos hombres recibieron una percepción [insight] más profunda de la mente y el amor del Padre para bendecir y hacer felices a los hombres en su amor natural y, en consecuencia, estaban más cerca de Él y comprendían mejor Su voluntad y lo que Le agradaba.
Desde que me convertí en espíritu, he aprendido muchas verdades que no entendía en la tierra, y que es necesario conocer para poder disfrutar de este amor en su plenitud.
Sin embargo, nunca poseí este Amor Divino hasta después de que Jesús vino a la tierra, y mostró a hombres y a espíritus lo que este Amor significaba, y cuán necesario era obtenerlo para poder formar parte de la Divinidad de Dios.
Ahora no veo que estuviera más favorecido por Dios en nada ─pues entonces sólo poseía este amor natural─ que lo que lo estaban muchos otros que tenían el privilegio de recibir de Sus ángeles las inspiraciones que les llegaban ocasionalmente, y que les permitían comunicar a los habitantes de la tierra cuál era el propósito de Dios para con ellos.
Yo era un mero hombre, en el sentido de que sólo poseía este amor natural y, por lo tanto, no podía alcanzar un nivel más alto en el mundo espiritual que el que este amor natural me permitía alcanzar.
Ahora estoy en un cielo que este Amor Divino me ha abierto, y que me permite disfrutar de la gran felicidad que ese Amor proporciona a todos los que lo poseen.
Cuando vivía en el mundo espiritual, antes de obtener este Amor Divino, sólo poseía la felicidad que proviene del amor natural, y desconocía por completo la felicidad que ahora tengo. Así, como ves, el espíritu que carece de este Amor Divino no puede ascender en las esferas espirituales más allá de lo que le corresponde por este amor natural, y la principal fuente de felicidad es este amor natural y el desarrollo de las facultades mentales. En la tierra, es posible que un hombre alcance esta felicidad y viva en el cielo del hombre natural perfecto, tal como yo lo hacía antes de obtener este Amor Divino.
Yo era un espíritu en las esferas espirituales más elevadas y era muy feliz, tal como yo creía; pero cuando obtuve este Amor Divino, constaté que la felicidad de mi anterior condición no era nada comparada con la de mi condición actual, y por lo tanto, quiero decirle a toda la humanidad que debe buscar este Amor superior si desea alcanzar una dicha que es suprema.
Sé que esta charla divagatoria puede no parecer muy instructiva, mas simplemente deseo enfatizar que viví como un simple hombre, incluso en la forma espiritual, antes de obtener el Amor Divino, y que sólo fue con la llegada de ese Amor a mi alma que participé de la Divinidad del Padre.
Bueno, ellos todavía están en los cielos espirituales (Nota: Se refiere a muchos en la sexta esfera del hombre natural perfecto, que no poseen el Amor Divino que los califica para entrar en los Ámbitos Celestiales) porque aún no han abrazado la doctrina Crística del Amor Divino. Viven y enseñan las doctrinas que enseñaron en la tierra, solo que muy mejoradas.
No lo sé, excepto que están satisfechos con lo que enseñaron y con la felicidad en la que viven. Quizás te parezca extraño que no hayan encontrado este Amor en todos estos años, pero es un hecho, y no lo están buscando. Siento que han desaprovechado una gran oportunidad y han perdido mucho al dejar pasar todos estos años sin haber buscado la gran verdad.
Los diferentes maestros de las diversas religiones que han surgido en la tierra [which have come to earth] ocupan planos en los cielos espirituales que les son propios [all to themselves]. Ellos, los judíos, aún creen que la suya es la única religión verdadera, que son el pueblo elegido de Dios y que todas las demás están equivocadas en sus doctrinas.

St. John Comments on the Beliefs of the Preacher (early message)
And he said, that there is no other salvation than through the blood of Jesus.
How in error he is, and how he will find the truth on his awakening in the spirit life.
Let not Your heart be troubled or your faith in the Master be shaken by anything that he or any other man may say.
I was at the meeting and what the preacher said was all right, except – that you must believe that only the blood saves from sin. No, he did not say that in so many words, but that was what he intended that his sermon should convey.
I am St. John.
I never said that the blood of Jesus saves from sin, and neither did Jesus or any of his apostles.
Let not the conversation cause you to doubt for a moment what we have written to you.
So I will stop now and will only say further, that we are all with you and want you to believe firmly in what we may write.
Yes, I am sorry to say that that is their belief, and what a great mistake they make and how great the awakening will be for them, when they shall learn the truth. So believe and trust

John – Importance of prayer so that the soul can be developed and works will follow (5 Oct 1915)
I AM HERE, John, apostle of Jesus.
I am the apostle, and you need not try me as your friend said, for no spirit can impersonate me when I am present.
So you must believe me and try to receive what I may write tonight, in faith, and you will find that you will be benefitted.
I came principally to tell you that I have been listening to the conversation between you two and to the reading of the Sermon on the Mount given to us by the Master in the days of long ago, as you would say.
When that sermon was delivered we were not in a condition of great spiritual development, and we did not understand its inner meanings, and as to its literal meaning we thought it was not intended for the practical affairs of llife. People, I know, think that we, at that time, were very spiritually developed and had an understanding of the great truths taught by the Master, which were superior to what men have now, but I tell you that this is a mistake. We were comparatively ignorant men, fishermen by occupation, and had no education above the ordinary working man of that time, and when Jesus called us to become his apostles, we were as much surprised and hesitated as much as you did when the similar mission was declared for you.
Our knowledge came with our faith in the great truths which the Master taught, and from our observation of the great powers which he displayed, and also from the influence of the Great Love that he possessed. But when mankind think that we easily understood the great truths which he taught, they are mistaken. Only after the descent upon us of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost did we fully come in accord with the Father, or fully appreciate the great truths that the Master had taught.
Of course we learned many things which men of that time did not know, and our souls became developed to a large extent, but not sufficient to bring us to a knowledge of the wonderful meaning of the truths which made men free and brought them in unison with the Father. In your conversation tonight you discussed the relative value of prayer and works, and did not agree with the preacher, that works are the great things to develop men into love and bring about great happiness in the world, and that prayer is not of such importance.
Now let me, as a spirit and as a man who worked on earth and prayed on earth, say with an authority that arises from actual experience, and knowledge that comes of observation, that of all the important things on earth for men who are seeking salvation and happiness and development of soul, prayer is the most important, for prayer brings from the Father not only Love and blessings, but the condition of mind and intent that will cause men to do the great works that the preacher admonished men to engage in.
Prayer is the cause of the power being given to men that will enable them to do all the great works which will bring reward to the doer, and happiness and benefit to the one who receives the works.
So you see the results can never be as great as the cause, for the cause, in this instance, not only gives to men this ability to work, but also to love and to develop his soul and to inspire him with all good and true thoughts. Works are desirable, and in some cases necessary, but prayer is absolutely indispensable. So let you and your friend understand and never doubt, that without prayer the works of men would be unavailing to accomplish the great good which even now man performs for his brother.
Pray, and works will follow. Work, and you may do good, but the soul does not benefit, for God is a God that answers prayer through the ministrations of His angels and through the influence of His Holy Spirit, which works on the interior or real part of man.

Ann Rollins – The blood of Jesus does not save from sin. (5 Sep 1915)
I will say a word also.
I am your own dear grandmother.
I came to tell you that I know now that the blood of Jesus does not save from sin. You will remember how, when on earth I believed this doctrine of error. How I used to talk about the precious blood of Jesus being able to save from all sin, and used to sing with all my heart and belief in the old hymn: «There is a fountain filled with blood» and so forth. Well I know now that that belief is all wrong, and that Jesus is so anxious to have men learn that it is a great error and stumbling block to the soul’s progression.
Of course I know that a vast majority of those now living will never believe that this saying of the Bible is erroneous until they come to the spirit world; but if they only could be taught to throw aside this belief and rely entirely on the Divine Love for their salvation while on earth, how much easier their progress would be when they come over.
So you see, that while many say that a belief does not amount to much, yet I tell you that it causes more unhappiness and retards the progress of spirits to a greater extent than any other one thing.
I know that only the Divine Love of the Father saves from sin and makes mortals at-one with Him. So in your work for the Master, you will have to make great efforts to cause people to give up this belief in the blood, and turn to the truth of the New Birth. Many of the orthodox will oppose your efforts and refuse to believe what you may tell them to be the truth, but many will believe and seek this New Birth, and find the peace and happiness of a soul whose sins have been forgiven.
I must not write more tonight.
I will come again soon and tell you more of the result of your work among the unfortunate spirits who seek your help.

Saul – Advice to his people, the Jews. (1 Jun 1917)
I AM HERE, Saul:
I will say only a word as it is late, and your wife says that I must not write much.
Well, I have not written for a long time, and I desire very much to write you a message regarding some important spiritual truths that I know will be of interest to you; and if you will give me the opportunity, I will come soon and do so.
I am interested in the Jews and I desire to tell them of some truths that may open up their minds to the way to the Celestial Kingdom, and cause them to cease to believe that their old orthodox beliefs in their father Abraham and the God of the Old Testament is all that is necessary to bring them into the presence of the true God.
I realize that it will be difficult to write anything that will convince them of the errors of their beliefs, yet I will try, and pray to the Father to open up their understanding.
The happenings in the countries where war is now raging will have their effect upon the Jews as well as upon the Christians and Pagans, and I desire that they, in their awakening consciousness may have the benefit of the truth. So if you will give me the opportunity I will come soon and write.
I should like to say a few things more, but it is best that I do not tonight, and I will stop. So with my love and the blessings of God, I will say good night. Your brother in Christ,

Samuel Gives His Experience in the Spirit Heavens and His Progress to the Celestial Kingdom (5 Aug 1915)
I AM HERE, Samuel. I am Samuel the prophet.
I want to tell you that I am in a condition to tell you of my existence here in the spirit world, and what I know about the truths of the doctrines of Jesus as I have learned them since I became possessed of the Divine Love which he brought to earth and to the world of spirits.
I have lived a great many years in this spirit life, more than you may think from the account of my earth life as contained in the Old Testament, for that book does not state correctly the time when I lived as a mortal. Many thousand years have gone by since I lived and performed my work as prophet and teacher on the earth, and I have in all these long years learned many things about the spiritual world, and its conditions and laws.
In the first place, I am not a spirit who was given over to the evils that men are usually possessed of when they become spirits, because when I lived on earth I was very close to the Father in his thoughts and love. I mean the love which He gave to man at that time. This love, while not the Divine Love, yet was a love that was sufficient to make men happy when they possessed it free from sin and error and tried to do the will of the Father as they understood that will. Many men thought that they understood this will, when in reality they only knew that which the laws of Moses taught them to be right in the sight of God. But some men were given a deeper insight into the mind and love of the Father to bless and make men happy in their natural love and consequently were closer to Him, and better understood His will and what was pleasing to Him.
I have since my becoming a spirit learned many truths which I did not understand on earth, and which are necessary to know in order to be able to enjoy this love in its fullness.
I never, though, possessed this Divine Love until after Jesus came to earth and showed men and spirits what this Love meant, and how necessary it was to obtain it in order to become a part of God’s Divinity.
I do not now see that I was any more in favor of God, as I then possessed only this natural love, than were many others who had the privilege of receiving from His angels the inspirations which came to them at times, and which made them able to tell the inhabitants of earth what was the purpose of God to have them do.
I was only a man in the sense that I was only possessed of this natural love and hence, could get no higher in the spiritual world than this natural love would enable me to attain.
I am now in a heaven which this Divine Love has opened up to me, and which enables me to enjoy the great happiness which that Love causes all to have, who possess it.
When I lived in the spirit world before obtaining this Divine Love, I was only possessed of that happiness which comes from the natural love, and I knew nothing of the happiness which I now possess. So you see, the spirit which has not this Divine Love can go no higher in the spiritual spheres than it is fitted to occupy by reason of this natural love, and the principal source of happiness is this natural love and the development of the mental faculties. On earth it is possible for a man to obtain this happiness and live in the heaven of the perfect natural man as I did prior to my obtaining this Divine Love.
I was a spirit in the highest of the spiritual spheres and was very happy, as I thought, but when I obtained this Divine Love, I realized that the happiness of my former condition was as nothing compared to that of my present condition and I therefore want to tell all mankind that they must seek for this higher Love if they wish to obtain a bliss that is supreme.
I know that this rambling talk may not seem very instructive, but I merely wish to emphasize the fact that I lived a mere man, though in the spirit form, before I obtained the Divine Love, and that only with the coming of that Love in my soul did I partake of the Divinity of the Father.
Well, they are still in the spiritual heavens (Note: Referring to many in the 6th sphere of the perfect natural man that do not possess the Divine Love to qualify them to enter the Celestial Heavens) because they have not yet embraced the Christ doctrine of Divine Love. They are living and teaching the doctrines that they taught on earth, only much improved.
I don’t know, except that they have been satisfied with what they taught and the happiness that they live in. It may seem strange to you that they have not found this Love in all these years, but it is a fact, and they are not seeking for it. I feel that they have neglected a great opportunity and have lost very much by letting all these years go by without having sought the great truth.
The different teachers of the various religions which have come to earth are occupying planes in the spiritual heavens all to themselves. They, the Jews, still think that theirs is the only true religion, and that they are the chosen people of God, and that all others are mistaken in their doctrines.
Well, I must stop. So thanking you for your kindness, I will say good night.
