Introducción

La lectura de estos mensajes dura en el audio hasta el minuto 16:06, y luego hay comentarios. Esta vez los mensajes tienen una relación muy directa con el tema de este apartado 11 ─que agrupa mensajes muy variados─.
Son mensajes de Lucas y de Bunyan.
Hablan por ejemplo sobre la creencia en un Jesús falso, en cuanto que es falso que sea un guerrero redentor y vaya a venir como tal, pues la «lucha», si se pudiera llamar así, es contra el pecado, y no contra la gente.
En los comentarios volvió a surgir el tema candente del «anticristo», ya que es el reverso de la figura falsa de la que están hablando (el Jesús guerrero).
Surgió ese tema de una manera más inspirada de lo que me esperaba, y de lo que mi mala voz (por el resfriado) podría dar a entender que iba a pasar 🙂 .
A continuación, pues, tratamos parte del apartado:

Son los siguientes dos mensajes contenidos en el apartado.
El tema principal en el apartado es «la expiación vicaria», ya que es una creencia o dogma muy dañino.

Estoy aquí, Lucas, del Nuevo Testamento.
Sí, deseo escribir esta noche unas líneas sobre un tema inédito, y sé que te interesará.
Mi tema es: «¿Qué es lo más importante que los hombres han de hacer para que se produzca ese gran milenio que, según los predicadores, ocurrirá antes o después de la venida de Jesús?».
Por supuesto, al plantear así la cuestión, no pretendo que se entienda que estoy de acuerdo con la doctrina de que Jesús vendrá a la tierra en forma física, en las nubes con un gran clamor, etc., tal como enseñan muchos predicadores, pues ese acontecimiento nunca ocurrirá, porque, como os hemos escrito antes, ya ha venido a la tierra o, mejor dicho, a los hombres, de la manera espiritual que hemos explicado. Tampoco pretendo abarcar, en la expresión «lo más grande», el Amor Divino, pues éste, por supuesto, es lo más grande en toda la tierra y también en los cielos; mas con esta expresión me refiero a lo más grande que los hombres pueden hacer, independientemente de la ayuda del Amor Divino.
Bueno, como se entiende comúnmente, el milenio es un tiempo o período de mil años en el que la paz reinaría en la tierra, y el diablo, tal como se dice, sería encadenado y no se le permitiría vagar por la tierra, causando pecado y destrucción de almas, enfermedades y los otros pecados que tan generalmente acosan a los mortales. Por supuesto, no existe un demonio personal en el sentido de una majestad satánica, pero sí hay espíritus malignos que abundan en el mundo invisible y que están constantemente con los mortales, ejerciendo sobre ellos su influencia maligna y sugiriéndoles pensamientos y deseos que culminan [eventuate] en actos pecaminosos e incorrectos. Pero estos malvados son simplemente los espíritus de mortales fallecidos, y no seres de una clase superior en poder y cualidades.
El pecado, como os hemos dicho, nunca fue creado por Dios, ni es producto ni emanación de ninguna de las creaciones perfectas de Dios, sino que es totalmente el resultado del ejercicio incorrecto de los apetitos y la voluntad del hombre, cuando se permite que los deseos de la carne prevalezcan sobre los deseos de su naturaleza espiritual.
Con el pecado vienen todos los males, discordias e inarmonías que constituyen la manera en que el hombre vive su vida terrenal, y si no se produce la eliminación de estas cosas ─que no forman parte de su naturaleza original, sino que son la creación de la inversión de esa naturaleza─ en sus pensamientos, deseos y apetitos, el milenio nunca se establecerá en la tierra ─y tampoco Satanás será encadenado ni se le impedirá realizar su obra de destrucción del alma─.
Ahora bien, la inversa de esta proposición es cierta, y la posibilidad de que ocurra también lo es, y entonces la cuestión es cómo puede lograrse esto, pues hacerlo es «lo más importante que los hombres han de hacer».
Cuando se determine definitivamente la causa de la condición actual de la humanidad en pecado, dolor e infelicidad, entonces aparecerá fácilmente lo necesario para remediar la condición y eliminar la causa; y, por lo tanto, cuando se aplique el remedio y se elimine, el milenio seguramente llegará, pues este glorioso tiempo de la felicidad deseada y buscada por el hombre es simplemente uno en el que reina la paz y no existe la discordia, y cada hombre es guardián de su propio hermano en amor.
Entonces, ¿cuáles son las causas de la condición actual de la existencia en la tierra, manchada, contaminada y controlada por el pecado, el error y la enfermedad?
Estas causas son dos: una es la derivada de la caída del hombre de su perfección creada de cuerpo, mente y alma, al permitir y alentar que la naturaleza animal subordine a la espiritual y, por lo tanto, por la excesiva complacencia de la primera, provocando que los apetitos carnales crezcan y transformen al hombre en un amante del pecado y de lo malo; y la otra es la derivada de las influencias de los espíritus del mal, que siempre se esfuerzan por establecer un estrecho vínculo con los hombres y ejercer su influencia maligna sobre ellos.
Si bien el Satanás personal no existe, la idea que transmite la necesidad de atarlo para poder hacer realidad este milenio es cierta, y se aplica a la relación real de los hombres con estos espíritus malignos, salvo que, en el caso de estos últimos, no es necesario y ni siquiera posible atarlos, sino soltarlos: es decir, romper su vínculo o influencia sobre los hombres, pues cuando esto se hace, los hombres se vuelven, por así decirlo, libres, y en cuanto a estos espíritus malignos es como si no estuvieran [as if they were not].
Así pues, como paso previo a la llegada de este ansiado tiempo de paz y pureza, los hombres deben dejar de creer que llegará con la venida de Jesús de forma física y manifiesta, tal como un conquistador mortal que viniera con legiones de seguidores, al son de los tambores, y que, por la fuerza de las armas o la grandeza de poder, sometiera a sus enemigos.
Esto nunca sucederá, pues nadie es enemigo de Jesús, sino que todos son sus hermanos, y él no libra ni librará la guerra contra ningún ser humano, sino solo contra el pecado y la impureza que residen en su alma; y esta guerra jamás podrá librarse mediante el poder o la fuerza de legiones de ángeles, pues tan grande es el poder de la voluntad humana y tan respetada es su libertad de acción por el Padre, que no hay poder en el cielo ni en la tierra que pueda o quiera transformar un alma pecaminosa en pura mediante la fuerza, amenazas y legiones de ángeles conquistadores, aunque fueran los guiados por Jesús, lo cual no sucederá.
No, el alma es el hombre, y esa alma solo puede purificarse y quedar sin pecado cuando desea y consiente que tal condición se convierta en suya.
Por lo tanto, no debería ser difícil para los hombres comprender que esta creencia errónea de que Jesús vendrá con la apariencia de un conquistador humano y establecerá este gran tiempo de paz les está causando mucho daño y retrasando la llegada de este acontecimiento. El efecto de esta creencia, en el alma, es que todo se va a lograr por obra de Jesús, y nada por sí misma, excepto creer en su venida y esperar, y estar preparada para verse arrebatada en las nubes, y luego ayudar a las huestes celestiales a destruir a todos sus compañeros mortales que no creyeron como ella, y revestirse de las vestiduras de la ascensión ─tal como las denominan, literal o figuradamente─.
Así creen, y en su mente puede que sean honestos, pero sus almas podrían estar desfiguradas y manchadas por el pecado y la acumulación de pecado de la vida, de modo que no estarían en condiciones de disfrutar de un lugar de pureza y liberación del pecado. Y algunos de ellos esperan y afirman ser los jueces de otros compañeros mortales, debido a las acciones realizadas en el cuerpo, y, sin embargo, ¿en cuántos casos resultaría ser efectivamente que un ciego pecador juzga a otro ciego pecador?
Pero, además, afirman que Jesús, por su gran poder, y por el hecho de que creyeron que volvería a la tierra y establecería su reino, en un abrir y cerrar de ojos los convertirá en súbditos aptos para su reino, y capacitados para juzgar a los injustos y ayudarle a expulsarlos de él.
No, esta nunca podrá ser la manera en que se establezca el milenio, y cuanto antes los hombres descarten esta creencia y busquen la verdad y el verdadero camino hacia la pureza y la perfección, antes se harán realidad la esperanza y la expectativa de la humanidad.

La Ley de compensación (John Bunyan) (9 enero 1917)
Permíteme escribir unas líneas.
Estoy muy interesado en ti y tu obra, y quiero hacer todo lo posible por ayudar.
He escuchado el mensaje de tu abuela, que es maravillosamente alentador y está lleno de profundas verdades que, si las comprendéis y aplicáis, os serán de gran beneficio.
Tuve mis problemas cuando viví en la tierra, pero nunca conté con el poder sustentador del Amor Divino del que ella habla, y, por lo tanto, viví mi vida lo mejor que pude, con la sola ayuda de mis poderes naturales y una disposición bastante animada [cheerful]. Si hubiera poseído este Amor, ahora sé que me habría ahorrado muchas horas de preocupación y habría disfrutado de muchas horas de felicidad que no fueron mías.
Parece ser el sino o el destino de los mortales experimentar problemas. Tal como alguien dijo una vez, el hombre nació para los problemas, pero no es del todo cierto, pues el hombre en gran medida crea sus propios problemas, y conforme los hombres lleguen a conocer la gran ley de compensación, comprenderán la verdad de lo que digo.
Pero gracias a Dios, aunque el hombre crea sus propios problemas y la ley de compensación actúa imparcialmente, aun así, el Padre amoroso puede aliviarlo de sus problemas y hacerlo feliz. Y al hacer esto así ─y esto es lo que quiero decir─, resulta que las exigencias de esta ley no se ven insatisfechas. Esta ley, a su vez, está sujeta a otra ley, y es que si no existen causas, no se le puede exigir nada al mortal; y el Padre, al ayudar a Sus hijos, no le dice a la ley: no exigirás penalización a este hijo a quien deseo ayudar, sino que le dice al hijo: recibe mi Amor y mi ayuda, y las causas para las demandas de esta ley dejarán de existir.
Si los mortales tan solo comprendieran esta verdad, dejarían de creer que el Padre no puede ayudar a Sus hijos, y también verían que, para otorgar dicha ayuda, no es necesario ignorar ni suspender las operaciones de esta gran ley. El Padre nunca concede una dispensación especial para eximir a los mortales de pagar las penalizaciones de esta ley, pero sí les concede Su Gran Amor, y cuando lo poseen, las causas que conllevan las penalizaciones dejan de existir.
La ley del Amor Divino es la más grande de las leyes, y suplanta a todas las demás en sus operaciones sobre las almas y las mentes de los mortales.
Bueno, amigo mío, no debo escribir más, así que, con mi amor, me despido.

What is the Most Important Thing in All the World for Men to Do to Bring About the Great Millennium, Etc. (That «Etc.» means (alternative title) = … that the preachers proclaim will come before or after the coming of Jesus?) (Luke – of the New Testament) (30 Nov 1916)
I AM HERE. Luke of the New Testament.
Yes, I desire to write to-night a few lines upon a subject that has never yet been written on, and I know it will interest you.
My subject is: – «What is the most important thing in all the world for men to do in order to bring about the great millennium that the preachers proclaim will come before or after the coming of Jesus?
Of course, in stating the question thus I do no intend to be understood as consenting to the doctrine that Jesus will come to earth in physical form, on the clouds with a great shout, etc., as many of the preachers teach, for that event will never happen, because, as we have written you before, he has already come to earth or rather to men in the spiritual way that we have explained. Neither do I intend to embrace in the phrase, «the greatest thing,» the Divine Love, for that, of course, is the greatest thing in all the earth and in the heavens, as well; but by this expression I mean the greatest thing that men can do, independently of the assistance of the Divine Love.
Well, as commonly understood, the millennium is a time or period of a thousand years when peace will reign on the earth, and the devil, as is said, will be bound and not permitted to roam over the earth, causing sin and destruction of souls, and sickness and the other sins that new so generally beset mortals. Of course there is no personal devil in the sense of a Satanic majesty, but there are spirits of evil which abound in the unseen world and are constantly with mortals, exercising upon them their influence of evil, and suggesting to them thoughts and desires that eventuate in sinful and wrong deeds. But these evil ones are merely the spirits of departed mortals and are not beings of a superior kind in power and qualities.
Sin, as we have told you, was never created by God, nor is it the product or emanations of any of God’s perfect creations but is wholly the result of the wrongful exercise of man’s appetites and will, when the desires of the flesh are permitted to overcome the desires of his spiritual nature.
With sin comes all the evils and discords and inharmonies that constitute man’s manner of living his earth life, and until these things, which are not a part of his original nature, but which are the creation of the inversion of that nature, be eliminated from his thoughts and desires and appetites, the millennium will never be established on earth, and neither will Satan be bound in chains and prevented from doing his work of soul destruction.
Now, the converse of this proposition is true, and the possibility of its occurring, is also true, and the question is how can this be brought about, for to bring this about is «the most important thing for men to do.»
When the cause of the present condition of mankind in sin and sorrow and unhappiness is definitely determined, then will readily appear what is necessary to remedy the condition and remove the cause; and, hence, when the remedy is applied and removal made, the millennium will surely come, for this glorious time of man’s desired and looked for happiness is merely one in which peace rules and discord does not exist, and every man is his own brother’s keeper in love.
Then what are the causes of the present condition of existence on earth, marred and tainted and controlled by sin and error and disease?
These causes are two-fold – the one arising from man’s fall from his created perfection of body, mind and soul, in permitting and encouraging the animal nature to subordinate the spiritual and thereby, by the over-indulgence of the former, causing the carnal appetites to grow and transform the man into a lover of sin and things evil; and the other arising from the influences which the spirits of evil, who are always endeavoring to make close rapport with men, and exercise their evil influence over him.
While the personal Satan does not exist, yet the idea conveyed by the necessity of binding him in order to bring about this millennium is a true one, and applies to the actual relationship of men to these evil spirits, except this, that in the case of the latter it is not necessary or even possible to bind them, but to loosen them – that is to loosen their rapport with or influence over men, for when that is done, men become, as it were, free, and these evil spirits are as if they were not.
So you see, as a preliminary to the ushering in of this greatly desired time of peace and purity, men must cease to believe that it will come with the coming of Jesus in a manifested physical way, as a mortal conqueror might come with legions of followers and noises of drums and by force of arms or greatness of power subdue his enemies.
This will never be, for no man is an enemy of Jesus, but all are his brothers, and he is not now making and never will make war on any human being, only on the sin and defilement that is within his soul; and this war can never be waged by power or force of legions of angels, for so great is the power of man’s will and so respected is its freedom of action by the Father, that there is no power in heaven or earth that can or will change a sinful soul into a pure one by force and threats and conquering legions of angels, even though they might be led by Jesus, which will not happen.
No, the soul is the man, and that soul can be made pure and sinless only when that soul desires and consents that such a condition may become its own.
So, it should not be difficult for men to understand that this erroneous belief, that Jesus will come in this semblance of a human conqueror and establish this great time of peace, is doing them much harm and delaying the actual time of the coming of this event. The effect of this belief upon the soul is that everything is to be accomplished by the work of Jesus, and nothing by themselves, except to believe in his coming and wait, and be ready to be snatched up in the clouds, and then help the hosts of heaven to destroy all of their late fellow mortals who had not believed with them, and put on the robes of ascension as they literally or figuratively designate such robes.
They thus believe, and in their minds they may be honest, yet their souls may be disfigured and tainted with sin and the life’s accumulation of sin, so that they could not possibly be in condition to enjoy a place of purity and freedom from sin. And some of them expect and claim that they will be the judges of others of their fellow mortals, because of the deeds done in the body, and yet in how many cases would it prove to be the blind and sinful judging the blind and sinful.
But they further claim that Jesus, by his great power, and the fact that they believed that he would come again to earth and establish his kingdom, will in the twinkling of an eye make them fit subjects for his kingdom, and qualified to judge the unrighteous and help cast them out of his kingdom.
No, this can never be the way in which the millennium will be established, and the sooner men discard this belief and seek the truth and the true way to purity and perfection, the sooner the hope and expectation of mankind will be realized.

The Law of Compensation (John Bunyan) (9 Jan 1917)
Let me write a few lines.
I am much interested in you and your work, and want to do all that I can to help.
I have heard your grandmother’s message and it is a beautifully encouraging one, and filled with deep truths, which, if you will grasp and apply, will benefit you very much.
I had my troubles when I lived on earth, but never had the sustaining power of the Divine Love that she speaks of, and, hence, lived my life as best I could with only the help of natural powers and a rather cheerful disposition. Had I possessed this Love, I now know that I should have been saved many hours of worriment, and enjoyed many hours of happiness that were not mine.
It seems to be the fate or destiny of mortals to experience trouble; as some one has said, man was born for trouble, but this is not just true, for man to a large extent makes his own troubles, and as men come into a knowledge of the great law of compensation they will realize the truth of what I say.
But thank God, even though man makes his own troubles and the law of compensation works impartially, yet the loving Father can relieve him from his troubles and make him happy. And in doing so, I want to say, the demands of this law are not unsatisfied. This law, itself, is subject to another law, and that is, that unless causes exist it cannot demand anything from the mortal; and the Father in helping His children does not say to the law, you shall not demand a penalty from this child whom I desire to help, but says to the child, receive my Love and help, and the causes for the demand of this law will cease to exist.
If mortals would only understand this truth they would not continue to believe that the Father cannot help His children, and they would also see that in order to confer such help, it is not necessary to set aside or suspend this great law in its operations. The Father never grants a special dispensation to relieve mortals from paying the penalties of this law, but He does give to them His Great Love, and when they possess that the causes that entail the penalties cease to have an existence.
The law of the Divine Love is the greatest law and supplants every other law in the workings upon the souls and minds of mortals.
Well, my friend, I must not write more, and so with my love, will say good-night.
