La lectura de estos mensajes dura en el audio hasta el minuto 14:26, y luego hay comentarios.
Son dos mensajes, de Jesús y de Mary Kennedy. Esta última es el alma gemela del editor de este formato de los mensajes, Leslie Stone.
Jesús nos habla del problema de adorarle a él por encima de Dios, ya que son dos tipos de «amores»:
─ por un lado el amor que podemos tener por (y recibir de) un hermano (como Jesús),
─ y por otro lado el amor que podemos tener por Dios y recibir de parte de Dios (nuestra creadora/creador infinito).
Mary habla un poco del tema del alma gemela, ya que es un mensaje dirigido hacia Leslie.

Estoy aquí, Jesús.
Eres mi querido hermano, y te diré lo que deseo que hagas en este momento. No permitas que las preocupaciones de tu vida laboral te impidan dedicar tus pensamientos a Dios en adoración y oración, y creer en mí y quererme como tu amigo y maestro, porque lo soy; y solo deseo que hagas aquello que te aúne más con el Padre y te haga quererme más.
Debes procurar que todos tus pensamientos se centren en la misión para la que te he seleccionado, pues te he elegido y debes cumplir mi obra. Así como yo fui el elegido por Dios para realizar Su obra cuando estuve en la tierra, así tú eres el elegido ahora para realizar la mía, llevando al mundo mis mensajes de verdad y amor. Pronto comenzaré a escribirlos y debes conservarlos hasta que estés en condiciones de publicarlos, lo cual no tardará mucho, pues ya te he dicho que pronto tendrás a tu disposición los medios para dedicarme todo tu tiempo.
No quiero que pienses que no eres digno de realizar esta gran obra, pues de lo contrario, no te habría elegido, y este hecho debería bastarte para que no dudes de que eres la persona idónea para la obra.
Déjame decirte ahora que, pase lo que pase con tus asuntos de negocios y tu trabajo, velaré por ti y eliminaré todos los obstáculos para que, como te digo, pronto puedas comenzar con tus tareas.
En mis enseñanzas quiero mostrar que simplemente soy hijo de mi Padre, tal como tú eres Su hijo, y que no debo ser adorado como Dios. Él es el único Dios, y quienes me adoran en todo el mundo no cumplen mi deseo, pues relegan a Dios a un segundo plano y me convierten en su objeto de culto, lo cual es totalmente erróneo y anhelo que deje de ocurrir.
Debéis verme únicamente como un hijo de Dios y como vuestro hermano mayor, quien ha recibido del Padre Su amor y confianza plenos, y que se me ha encomendado enseñaros. No habéis de permitir que nadie os tiente a que vuestro amor por Dios se vea reemplazado por el que podáis tener por mí, pues vuestro amor por mí no debe ser del mismo tipo que el que tenéis por Él. Él es el único Dios, y debéis adorarlo solo a Él. Así pues, tened cuidado y haced la distinción, pues si no, cometeréis un inmenso error.
Soy tu querido hermano y maestro, y te quiero con un amor que siento por muy pocos mortales. ¿Por qué? Porque veo que serás un verdadero seguidor mío y vas a amar a Dios como yo Lo amo. Solo es que no quiero que pienses que ahora estarías en una condición tal que te libra del pecado, o tal que ya no necesites progresar hacia el Padre con todo tu corazón para la afluencia de Su Amor. Debes obtener todo ese Amor que es posible obtener, y que solo puede ser obtenido mediante la oración y la fe.
Así que, en tus oraciones, ten fe y llegará el momento en que estés muy cerca del Padre y disfrutes de Su Amor como pocos lo han logrado hasta ahora.
Sí, es posible y, como te digo, sucederá; solo haz lo que te he dicho. Sí, te ayudaré con todo mi poder y amor, y lo lograrás. Solo intenta creer y te darás cuenta, antes de venir al mundo espiritual, de que Dios es tu Padre en un grado que te permitirá vivir muy cerca de Él, tal como yo vivo. Sé que tu fe es muy grande ahora, y aunque a veces tengas dudas y te desanimes, tu fe está ahí, y crecerá en intensidad, y se volverá tan fuerte que nunca más se quebrantará.
Sí, hay muchas cosas de mi vida, tal como está escrito en la Biblia, que son ciertas y muchas que no lo son. Te hablaré de esto cuando escriba mis mensajes, y debes esperar hasta entonces. Sí, lo hice, pero no en el sentido que se enseña. Perdonar el pecado es simplemente permitir que el verdadero penitente sienta que, tan pronto le ruegue a Dios para que borre sus ofensas pasadas, y crea sinceramente que Dios lo hará, esos pecados ya no se le imputarán y no tendrá por qué rendir cuentas. Yo por mí mismo no podía perdonar el pecado, pues no era Dios; pero sí podía decirles con sinceridad que, si se arrepentían, Dios perdonaría sus pecados. Más adelante te explicaré en detalle qué es el verdadero perdón y en qué consiste.
En cuanto al acto de sanación que realicé en el estanque de Betesda, se dice que dije: «¿Qué es más fácil, decirle: ‘Levántate y anda’, o decirle ‘tus pecados quedan perdonados’?». Bueno, así está registrado, pero eso no fue lo que dije. En realidad dije: «Para que sepas que el Hijo del Hombre, por el poder de Dios, puede perdonar los pecados, te digo: ‘Levántate y anda'». Fue solo en cuanto que instrumento de Dios, para mostrar al hombre el camino a Su Amor Divino, que pude obrar el perdón de los pecados, y no mediante ningún poder propio. Si Dios no perdonaba, yo no podía, ni ningún hombre puede.
Sé que una iglesia se atribuye esa autoridad, pero no es correcto. No tiene ningún poder para perdonar los pecados ni para conceder favores o indulgencias a la humanidad, y su pretensión de ese poder es una mera usurpación de lo que solo Dios tiene el poder de dar.
Que la bendición de Dios y la mía permanezcan contigo esta noche.

Estoy aquí, Mary Kennedy.
Estoy aquí, y no haré esperar más a mi querido, mi alma gemela, pues está a punto de estallar de ansiedad por tener noticias mías. Quizás no te haya reconocido esto a ti, pero es cierto, pues puedo leer su alma y no me estoy autohalagando al decírtelo.
Bueno, ha pasado ya algún tiempo desde que le escribí, aunque no lo parezca, pero sí ha sido así para mí, pues si pudieras comprender la felicidad que siento al escribirle, entenderías que a veces nosotros, los espíritus, sabemos lo que significa el tiempo en el mundo espiritual, aunque muchos te digan que no lo saben. Bueno, puede que sea así, pero dudo que quienes dicen eso hayan experimentado alguna vez la espera de la oportunidad de escribir a sus almas gemelas en la tierra.
He estado mucho tiempo con él, como él sabe, y me he vuelto parte de sus pensamientos e intentado responder con sensibilidad a las muestras de amor que me ha enviado, y a veces me di cuenta de que lo lograba. Y bien, esta noche deseo decirle que me interesa más la felicidad que le llega de la afluencia del amor del Padre, que cualquier felicidad que pueda provenir de la afluencia de mi amor. Y que si bien lo amo con todo mi amor de alma gemela y deseo que experimente esto en toda su plenitud, anhelo aún más que su alma se abra a este amor superior, tan necesario para su salvación eterna y su morada en las esferas celestiales. Y además, debo decirle esto: que las almas que han desarrollado este Amor Divino en su interior poseen una capacidad más maravillosa para este amor inferior que aquellas que solo han desarrollado el amor natural. En cuanto al primero, no hay fin para la felicidad que conlleva y las posibilidades de su progreso.
Por mis escritos, y especialmente por aquellos en los que intento ser un poco más amena, Leslie a veces puede pensar que soy algo frívola o no tan seria como debería ser un espíritu con mi desarrollo y mi posesión, pero quiero aclararle esto, pues debe saber que cuando la gran alegría y felicidad brotan del amor, incluso del Amor Divino, habrá gozo y jovialidad, y la tristeza o la seriedad constante no tendrán cabida en esa felicidad. A veces soy muy seria, y medito con gran fervor y anhelo del alma sobre las verdades del Padre y el significado de Su gran Amor, y mi alma se dirige hacia Él con toda la reverencia y adoración que Él pueda pedir de mí; y cuando oro por mi alma gemela y por su progreso en este amor, entonces soy más seria y permito que los anhelos de mi alma vayan al Padre con todo el fervor que poseo.
No, no debe pensar que soy un alma gemela frívola que vaga de esfera en esfera, tal como uno de los espíritus te escribió refiriéndose a nosotros, los que tenemos el Amor del Padre en nuestras almas, y que le parecemos tan luminosos y etéreos. Solo aquellos que están en la oscuridad, o que carecen de este gran Amor, tienen un semblante habitualmente serio, sin una risa ni una canción que alegren el corazón de algún otro espíritu o, tal vez, de algún mortal. Pues si tuviera que estar siempre seria, o aparentar ser un ángel de profunda reflexión, tratando de resolver los problemas del universo, no sería poseedora del Amor que tengo, y mi rostro no brillaría como el sol, que es la apariencia de aquellos espíritus que tienen este Amor del Padre en sus almas, como yo. No me estoy autohalagando ─tal como lo diríais vosotros, los mortales─, sino que os estoy declarando una verdad que nadie puede contradecir en nuestros planos espirituales, donde nosotros, las almas redimidas, vivimos, amamos y oramos.
Por supuesto, cuando acudo a tu habitación o al plano terrenal, no traigo conmigo mi verdadera apariencia, la que produce mi alma, pues no sería algo que los espíritus que habitan dicho plano pudieran soportar. Entonces, solo soy un espíritu hermoso, tal como a veces nos describen quienes escriben; mas solo aquellos que son como yo o superiores a mí pueden verme o comprenderme tal como soy. Así pues, intento ayudar a mi amado a que su alma reciba tanto de este Amor que, cuando llegue a nuestro mundo espiritual, no tarde mucho en poder ver a su Mary tal como realmente es. Bien, agradezco haber podido escribir esto esta noche, pues deseaba mucho que él tuviera alguna idea de mí tal como soy.
Dile que mi amor está siempre con él, ya sea que sea su Mary en el plano terrenal o su Mary en los cielos superiores, donde se manifiesta a sus compañeros espíritus en toda la belleza de su gloria, una gloria que solo puede provenir de la posesión del más grande de todos los amores.

I AM HERE. Jesus:
You are my dear brother, and I will tell you what I desire you to do at this time. You must not let the worries of your business life keep you from giving your thoughts to God in worship and in prayer, and from believing in me and loving me as your friend and teacher, for I am; and wish only to have you do those things which will make you more at one with the Father and love me more.
You must try to let all your thoughts turn to the mission which I have selected you to do, for I have chosen you and you must do my work. As I am the one that God selected to do His work when I was on earth, so you are the one that I now select to do my work by giving to the world my messages of truth and love. I will soon commence to write them and you must preserve them until such time as you shall be in condition to publish the same, which will not be very long, for I have already told you, the means that will enable you to give your whole time to me will soon be at your command.
I do not want you to think that you are not worthy to do this great work, for if you were otherwise, I would not have selected you, and this fact alone should be sufficient to make you not doubt that you are a suitable person for the work.
Let me tell you now that no matter what you may think will happen to your business affairs and work, I will look after you and remove all obstructions so that, as I say, you will soon be able to commence your duties.
In my teachings I want to show that I am only my Father’s son as you are His son, and not to be worshipped as God. He is the only God and the people who are worshipping me in all parts of the world are not doing what I desire, for they are putting God in the background and making me their object of worship, which is all wrong and which I am so anxious to have ceased.
They must look upon me only as a son of God and their elder brother who has received from the Father His full Love and confidence, and which I am bidden to teach to them. You are not to let anyone tempt you to let your love of God be displaced by any love that you may have for me, for your love for me must not be the kind that you have for Him. He is the only God and you must worship Him alone. So be careful and make the distinction, or you will make a most egregious mistake.
I am your own dear brother and teacher and love you with a love that I have for very few mortals. Why? Because I see that you will be a true follower of me and will love God as I love Him. Only, I do not want youto think that you are now in a condition that leaves you free from sin or the necessity of progressing to the Father with all your heart for an inflowing of His Love. You must get all this Love that is possible and that can be gotten only by prayer and faith.
So in your prayers, have faith and the time will come when you will become very close to the Father and enjoy His Love to a degree that few have so far obtained.
Yes, it is possible and, as I say, it will take place, only do as I have told you. Yes, I will help you with all my power and love, and you will succeed. Only try to believe and you will realize before you come to the spirit world that God is your Father to a degree that will enable you to live very near Him as I am living. Your faith is now very great as I know, and notwithstanding the fact that at times you have doubts and get despondent, yet your faith is there and it will grow in intensity and become so strong that it will never again be broken.
Yes, there are many things in my life as written in the Bible which are true and many that are not true. These I will tell you when I come to write my messages and you must wait until then. Yes, I did, but not in the sense that it is taught. To forgive sin is only to let the true penitent feel that just as soon as he prays God to blot out his past offenses and truly believes that He will do so, the sins are no longer held against him for which he will have to account. I could not myself forgive sin, for I was not God, but I could tell them truly that if they repented, God would forgive their sins. Later I will tell you in detail what real forgiveness is and what it consists of.
As for the healing act which I performed at the pool of Bethesda, I am reported to have said, «Is it easier to say, ‘take up thy bed and walk,’ than for God to forgive your sin?» Well, that is the way it is recorded, but that is not what I said. Actually I said, «That thou may know that the son of man through the power of God can forgive sin, I say unto you, ‘take up thy bed and walk’.» It was only as God’s instrument in showing man the way to His Divine Love, that I could bring about forgiveness of sin, and not by any power of my own. If God did not forgive, I could not and neither can any man.
I know that a church claims that authority, but it is not correct. It has no power to forgive sin or to grant any favor or indulgence to mankind, and its assertions of that power is a mere usurpation of what God alone has the power to give.
May God’s blessing and mine rest upon you tonight.

I AM HERE. Mary Kennedy:
I am here, and I will not keep my own dear soulmate waiting any longer, for he is just ready to explode from the anxiety that he has to hear from me. He may not acknowledge this to you, but it is true, for I can read his soul and do not flatter myself when I tell you this.
Well, it has been some time since I wrote him even if you do not think so, but it has been to me, for if you could only realize the happiness that I experience in writing to him, you would understand that sometimes we spirits know what time means in the spirit world, though many of them tell you that they do not know what time means. Well, it may be so, but I doubt that they who say this have ever had the experience of waiting for the opportunity of writing to their soulmates on earth.
I have been with him a great deal, as he knows, and have become a part of his thoughts, and tried to respond in a sensitive way to his thoughts of love that he has sent to me, and sometimes I realized that I succeeded. Well, tonight I desire to tell him that I am more interested in his happiness which comes to him from the inflowing of the Father’s Love than from any that may come from the inflowing of my love, and while I do love him with all my soulmate love, and want him to realize it in all its fullness, yet I am more anxious that his soul shall be opened up to this greater love that is so necessary to his eternal salvation and a home in the celestial spheres. And besides, I must tell him this – that the souls that have this Divine Love developed within them have a more wonderful capacity for this lesser love than those who have only the development of the natural love. To the former there is no end of happiness and to the possibilities of progress.
From my writings, and especially from those in which I attempt a little pleasantry, Leslie may sometimes think I may be a little frivolous or not so serious as a spirit of my development and possession should be, but of this I want to disabuse his mind, for he must know that when there is great joy and happiness growing out of love, even the Divine Love, there will be gladness and pleasantry, and sadness or continued seriousness will have no part in that happiness. I am very serious at times, and meditate with great earnestness and soul longings on the truths of the Father and the meaning of His great Love, and my soul goes out to Him with all the reverence and adoration that He would ask of me, and when I pray for my soulmate and for his progress in this love, then am I most serious and let the longings of my soul go to the Father with all the earnestness that I possess.
No, he must not think that I am a frivolous soulmate flitting from sphere to sphere as one of the spirits wrote you in reference to us who have the Love of the Father in our souls, and seem to he so bright and airy. Only those who are in darkness or who are bereft of this great Love are habitually serious looking with never a laugh or a song to make glad the heart of some other spirit or perchance mortal. Why, if I had to always be serious or apparently an angel of deep thought trying to solve the problems of the universe, I would not be the possessor of the Love that I have, and my face would not shine as the sun, which is the appearance of those spirits who have this Love of the Father in their souls as I have it. I am not flattering myself, as you mortals say, but am stating to you a truth that cannot be gainsaid by any in our spirit planes where we of the redeemed souls live and love and pray.
Of course, when I come to your room or into the earth plane, I do not bring with me my real appearance which my soul produces, for I would not be what the spirits who live on this plane could endure and, then, I am only a beautiful spirit as we are sometimes described by those who write, but, as I am, only those who are like me or higher than I can see or understand. And so I am trying to help my dear one to get so much of this Love in his soul that, when he comes to our spirit world, it may not be long until he can be in condition to see his Mary as she really is. Well, I am thankful that I could write this tonight for I so much desired that he should have some conception of me as I really am.
Tell him that my love is with him all the time, whether I am his Mary in the lower plane or his Mary in the higher heavens, where she appears to her spirit associates in all the beauty of her glory, a glory that can come only with and from the possession of the greatest of all loves.
I thank you and will not write more. So, my dear friend, with my sister’s love to you and my soulmate’s eternal love to him, I will say goodnight.
