Forma parte de un libro que es el segundo volumen de una recopilación concreta de los mensajes recibidos a principios del siglo XX por James E. Padgett de parte de varios desencarnados, entre otros, de Jesús de Nazaret.
Estos volúmenes fueron preparados y/o compartidos así por Divine Truth, entre otras personas.

Ha llegado el momento de que las Verdades se den a conocer para que la humanidad pueda ser redimida de las falsas creencias (7 septiembre 1915)
Estoy aquí, Juan el Bautista.
Vengo para animarte a orar más y a creer. El Amor del Padre está a la espera de que llenes tu alma al máximo con él, y lo único que se requiere de tu parte es la oración y la fe. Todos nos interesamos en ti y deseamos que alcances una condición que te permita recibir los mensajes del Maestro lo más pronto posible, pues ha llegado el momento de que sean entregados a la humanidad y comiencen su labor de redimir a los hombres de las falsas creencias, las doctrinas y los dogmas erróneos. Yo, Juan, te digo esto, porque veo que los hombres anhelan las verdades de Dios; verdades que eliminen toda superstición y error de las enseñanzas de aquellos que se conducen espiritualmente. Unas verdades tales que concuerden con el razonamiento de hombres que no están sesgados por creencias erróneas en los asuntos espirituales o en los materiales.
Te digo que estas verdades serán más fáciles de recibir y comprender para el simple materialista que para quienes están atados a las creencias inculcadas por los credos y dogmas de las iglesias. Y esta Nueva Revelación de las verdades de Dios será más bien aceptada por quienes no tienen ideas preconcebidas acerca de la naturaleza de Dios y de la relación del hombre con Dios, en un sentido espiritual, antes que por el teólogo erudito o el simple adorador en los altares de las iglesias, quienes creen en todo lo que les digan los sacerdotes y predicadores.
Así como en un tiempo fui la voz de alguien que clamaba en el desierto, ahora soy la voz de muchos espíritus de Dios que saben que el Maestro enseñará las verdades de su Padre, y que estas verdades deben ser aceptadas por los mortales en la tierra y por los espíritus en el mundo espiritual, para que puedan recibir la salvación que el Padre les ha preparado, y que, al aceptarla, constatarla y poseerla, los capacitará para participar de la felicidad y la inmortalidad que el Padre les ha prometido.
Te he escrito de esta manera esta noche porque quiero que comprendas más plena y profundamente la importante obra que el Maestro te ha seleccionado para realizar, y también la necesidad de continuarla lo antes posible.
Bueno, me ha interesado la gran cantidad de debates sobre ese punto, y cómo la creencia, de una u otra manera, ha llevado a quienes se dicen cristianos a formar distintas sectas. Si supieran o quisieran saber que, en cuanto a la salvación de sus almas, es por completo indiferente que Jesús fuera sumergido o rociado, no permitirían que surja ese amargo sentimiento que a menudo aparece al discutir este asunto.
No obstante, para zanjar esta disputa a satisfacción de quienes lleguen a leer el libro que publiques y a creer en sus afirmaciones, diré que cuando bauticé a Jesús, lo acompañé al agua y luego tomé agua en mis manos y la puse sobre su cabeza; no hubo inmersión.
Como esta agua era simplemente un símbolo de la purificación del pecado y el error, y como no es lo que realmente cumple con esa gran necesidad, para que los hombres puedan aunarse con Dios, no importaba si el bautizado era sumergido o rociado.
Es extraño que muchos hombres que profesan haber recibido el perdón de sus pecados y haberse reconciliado con Dios permitan que una nimiedad como esta cause tanta discordia y amargas disputas.

El sr. Padgett debe creer en Jesús como salvador, pero no mediante la expiación vicaria (8 Oct 1915)
Acércate al Señor, y tus fuerzas se renovarán y tu alma recibirá una maravillosa afluencia del Amor Divino, para que puedas dejar a un lado todas las preocupaciones y afanes terrenales, y estar en condiciones de recibir las grandes verdades que te aguardan; pues tienes como ayudante y amigo al más grande espíritu de todo el universo de Dios.
Te digo esto porque necesitas apoyo, y lo tendrás mientras vivas como mortal.
No soy alguien conocido en los anales de la iglesia ni en las vidas de los santos, pues nunca fui un santo en la tierra ni lo soy aquí, sino que sólo soy un humilde seguidor del Maestro, quien es, para mí, la más maravillosa de todas las criaturas de Dios.
Así que debes creer que él es tu amigo y salvador, pues lo es. Y no necesitas creer en su sangre, ni en su expiación vicaria, ni en su autosacrificio. Cree solamente en el Amor Divino, y en el hecho adicional de que Jesús es el que muestra el camino para todos los que busquen esta gran salvación.
No debo escribir más, pues no soy uno de los espíritus celestiales elevados, ya que sólo vivo en la quinta esfera; sin embargo, tengo mucho de ese Amor, y una felicidad que no puedo expresarte.
Así que, con todo mi amor, te doy las buenas noches.

Nicodemo – Sobre la importancia del Nuevo Nacimiento (30 julio 1915)
Yo, maestro en Israel, y sin embargo no entendía este Nuevo Nacimiento. Cuán pocos lo entendían entonces, y cuán pocos ahora.
Oh, cuántos años han pasado desde que Jesús me dijo que debía nacer de nuevo para heredar la vida eterna. Y cuán relativamente raro es que esta gran verdad sea enseñada por las iglesias y los maestros religiosos.
Esta verdad es la base misma de la redención de la humanidad, y hasta que un hombre reciba este Nuevo Nacimiento, no podrá entrar en el Reino de los Cielos. Los hombres pueden afirmar tener fe en Dios, creer en el nombre de Jesús, y atenerse a todas las necesidades esenciales de las iglesias y sus sacramentos, y, sin embargo, a menos que reciban este Nuevo Nacimiento, su fe y sus obras como cristianos son en vano.
Esto lo sé por experiencia propia, así como por las enseñanzas del Maestro, y deseo enfatizar con todas mis fuerzas que este es el único requisito importante para la inmortalidad.
El Nuevo Nacimiento significa que el Amor Divino del Padre afluya en el alma del hombre, de modo que ese hombre se convierte, por así decirlo, en parte del Padre en Su Divinidad e Inmortalidad.
Cuando esta verdad llega al hombre, éste comienza a asumir la naturaleza Divina del Padre, y toda esa parte suya que podría denominarse ‘naturaleza natural’ comienza a abandonarlo. Y a medida que el Amor Divino continúe creciendo y llenando su alma, el amor natural y los afectos por las cosas terrenales desaparecerán, y como resultado, se aunará con el Padre y se volverá inmortal.
¿Por qué quienes se proclaman maestros de las verdades de Jesús ─que son las verdades del Padre─ y todos sus seguidores no prestan más atención a esta verdad vital?
Cuando recibas los mensajes del Maestro, creo que encontrarás que esta Verdad del Nuevo Nacimiento es aquello que Jesús más va a enfatizar y a reiterar (Nota: Ver Vol. 1, donde, en los primeros mensajes, Jesús escribe literalmente sobre «Cómo obtener el Nuevo Nacimiento»). Lo más importante para los hombres es no sólo escuchar y aceptar en sus creencias intelectuales, sino también experimentar realmente.
Desearía haberlo entendido cuando estaba en la Tierra como lo entiendo ahora.
Él quiso decir que, así como nadie podía ver el viento ni saber de dónde venía ni adónde iba, tampoco quien recibiera este Nuevo Nacimiento podía ver las obras del Espíritu Santo (Nota: Ver el mensaje sobre el Espíritu Santo, de Jesús, en el Vol. 1) ni saber de dónde provenía. Pero esta última expresión debe modificarse, porque todos sabemos que viene del Padre, aunque no sabemos exactamente cómo. El Espíritu Santo es tan invisible como el viento, y sin embargo, es igual de real y existente.
Mas los hombres no necesitan esforzarse para saber exactamente qué es este Gran Poder, pues basta con saber que: lo que causa el Nuevo Nacimiento es el Amor Divino del Padre, al entrar en las almas de los hombres. Debo detenerme, pues ya he escrito suficiente por esta noche.
Así que permíteme firmar aquí como un hermano que ha recibido el Nuevo Nacimiento, y un amante y seguidor del Maestro,

Juan anima al sr. Padgett: El maravilloso amor que el Maestro siente por él (20 julio 1915)
Juan, apóstol de Jesús.
Deseo escribirte brevemente para contarte el maravilloso amor que el Maestro siente por ti al elegirte para realizar su obra.
Por eso te digo que te ama no sólo porque eres su elección para realizar su obra, sino porque desea que te conviertas en un hombre muy espiritual, con un gran desarrollo del alma, y que te hagas apto para entrar en su reino y convertirte en uno de sus queridos seguidores y hermanos en el Amor del Padre.
No conozco a ningún mortal que haya sido tan bendecido en su vida terrenal. Ni siquiera nosotros, que fuimos llamados por él en la tierra, fuimos tan bendecidos, hasta que recibimos el Espíritu Santo en Pentecostés, como tú lo estás siendo ahora. Recibirás este Gran Don en mayor abundancia en poco tiempo, y entonces constatarás lo que el don del Amor Divino significa para tu alma y para tu felicidad en la tierra.
Así pues, ahora eres mi hermano y un nuevo apóstol del Maestro, y sé que tu labor será mayor que la de cualquiera de nosotros cuando intentábamos difundir sus enseñanzas cuando estábamos en la tierra. Espero que Dios te bendiga abundantemente y te mantenga libre de todo pecado y error.
Estoy contigo muy frecuentemente, tratando de ayudarte a obtener el Amor Divino del Padre.
Bueno, lo recibirás, y cuando lo hagas, tal como lo decís, todo lo demás te llegará por añadidura; y me refiero a todo lo necesario para continuar la obra que se te ha asignado.
Así, con todo mi amor y bendiciones, y la seguridad de que pronto recibirás el Amor en mayor abundancia y realizarás esta Gran Obra con una fe inquebrantable,

The time is now ripe for the Truths to be made known so that mankind can be redeemed from the false beliefs. (7 Sep 1915)
I AM HERE, John the Baptist.
I come because I want to encourage you to pray more and to believe. The Father’s Love is waiting for you to fill your soul to its utmost, and the only things required on your part are prayer and faith. We are all interested in you and want you to get into a condition that will enable you to take the Master’s messages as rapidly as possible for the time is now ripe when they should be given to mankind, and started on their work of redeeming men from false beliefs and erroneous doctrines and dogmas. I, John, tell you this, for I call see that men are longing for the truths of God – such truths as will remove from the teachings of the spiritually guided all superstition and errors. Such truths as will accord with the reasoning of men who are not biased by erroneous beliefs either in matters spiritual or material.
I tell you that these truths will be easier for the mere materialist to receive and understand, than by those who are bound by the beliefs which the creeds and dogmas of the churches have inculcated. And the acceptance of this New Revelation of the truths of God will be by those who have no preconceived ideas of what the nature and relation of man to God, in the spiritual sense, is, rather than by the learned theologian and the simple worshipper at the altars of the churches, who believe whatever may be told them by the priests and preachers.
As I was, at one time, the voice of one crying in the wilderness, I am now the voice of many spirits of God, who know that the Master will teach the truths of his Father, and that these truths must be accepted by mortals on earth, and by spirits in the spirit world in order that they may receive that salvation which the Father has prepared for them, and which, when accepted and realized and possessed, will fit them to become partakers of the happiness and immortality which the Father has promised them.
I have written you in this manner tonight, because I want you to realize more fully and deeply the important work which the Master has selected you to do, and also the necessity of continuing this work at the earliest possible moment.
Well, I have been interested in the great amount of discussion on that point, and how the belief one way or the other has caused those calling themselves Christians to form distinct sects. If they only knew or would know, that it does not make a particle of difference to their soul’s salvation, whether Jesus was immersed or sprinkled, they would not let the bitter feeling arise that frequently does in discussing this matter.
But to settle this dispute to the satisfaction of those who may read the book which you may publish and believe in its statements, I will say, that when I baptized Jesus, I went with him into the water and then took the water in my hands and placed it on his head – there was no immersion.
As this water was merely symbolical of the washing away of sin and error, and does not actually accomplish that great necessity, in order for men to become one with God, it did not make any difference whether the recipient of baptism was immersed or sprinkled.
It is strange that many men who profess to have received the forgiveness of their sins and become reconciled to God should let a trifling thing of this kind cause so much strife and bitter disputations.

Mr. Padgett must believe in Jesus as a Saviour but not through the vicarious atonement (8 Oct 1915)
Go to the Lord, and your strength will be renewed and your soul will receive a wonderful inflowing of the Divine Love, so that you will be able to throw aside all worries and earthly cares, and be in condition to receive the great truths that are awaiting you; for you have as your helper and friend, the greatest spirit in all God’s universe.
This I tell you because you need to be sustained and will be as long as you live the life of a mortal.
I am not one who is known in the annals of the church or in the lives of the saints, for I never was a saint on earth and neither am I here, but only a lowly follower of the Master, who to me, is the most wonderful of all God’s creatures.
So you must believe that he is your friend and saviour, for he is; and you need not believe in his blood, or his vicarious atonement, or his self sacrifice either. Only believe in the Divine Love and in the further fact that Jesus is the wayshower to all who may seek this great salvation.
I must not write more, for I am not one of the high celestial spirits, as I live in the fifth sphere only, but, nevertheless, I have a very great deal of that Love, and a happiness which I cannot tell you of.

Nicodemus – On the importance of the New Birth (30 Jul 1915)
A master in Israel, and yet I did not understand this New Birth. How few understood it then, and how few now.
Oh, the long years that have gone by since Jesus told me that I must be born again to inherit eternal life, and how comparatively seldom this great truth is taught by the churches and the teachers of religious matters.
This truth is at the very foundation of mankind’s redemption, and until a man receives this New Birth he cannot possibly enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Men may claim to have faith in God and believe on Jesus’ name and conform to all the essentials and sacraments of the churches, and yet, unless they have this New Birth, their faith and works as Christians are vain.
This I know from my own experience as well as from the teachings of the Master, and I desire to emphasize, with all the powers that I have, that it is the only important requirement to immortality.
The New Birth means the flowing into the soul of a man the Divine Love of the Father, so that that man becomes, as it were, a part of the Father in His Divinity and Immortality.
When this truth comes to a man he commences to take on himself the Divine nature of the Father, and all that part of him that may be called the natural nature commences to leave him, and as the Divine Love continues to grow and fill his soul, the natural love and affections for things of the earth will disappear, and as a result he will become at-one with the Father and immortal.
Why don’t those who profess to be teachers of Jesus’ truths – which are the truths of the Father – and all followers of him, pay more attention to this vital truth?
When you shall have received the messages from the Master, I think you will find this Truth of the New Birth to be the one thing that Jesus will emphasize and reiterate most. (Note: 1st Edition – Vol. 1, Page 24, second paragraph. Jesus writes: «How to Obtain the New Birth.») It is the most important thing for men not only to hear about and acquiesce in their intellectual beliefs, but also to actually experience.
I wish that I had understood it when on earth as I do now.
He meant as no man could see the wind or tell from whence it came or whither it was going, so no man who received this New Birth could see the operations of the Holy Spirit (Note: Read «Holy Spirit from Jesus» – Vol. 1, Ist Edition, Page 72.) or know whence it came. But this latter expression must be modified, because we all know it comes from the Father; but just how we do not know. The Holy Spirit is as invisible as the wind, and yet it is just as real and existing.
But men need not trouble their intellects to know exactly what this Great Power is, for it is sufficient to know: that which causes the New Birth is the Divine Love of the Father coming into the souls of men. I must stop as I have written enough for tonight.
So let me subscribe myself a brother who has received the New Birth, and a lover and follower of the Master.

John gives encouragement to Mr. Padgett – The wonderful love the Master has for him. (20 Jul 1915)
John, apostle Of Jesus.
I desire to write a little while and tell you of the wonderful love that the Master has for you in your selection to do his work.
So I say, he loves you not only because you are his choice for doing his work, but because he wants you to become a very spiritual man having a large soul development, and becoming fitted to enter his kingdom and becoming one of his near and dear followers and brothers in the Love of the Father.
I do not know of any mortal who has been so blessed in his earth life. Even we who were called by him when on earth were not so blessed, until we received the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, as you are now doing.
You will receive this Great Gift in greater abundance in a short time, and then you will realize what the gift of the Divine Love means to your soul and to your happiness on earth.
So, you are now my brother and a new apostle of the Master, and I know your work will be greater in extent than was the work of any of us when we were trying to spread his teachings while on earth. I hope that God will bless you abundantly and keep you free from all sin and error.
I am with you very frequently, trying to help you to obtain the Divine Love of the Father.
Well, you will receive it, and when you do, as you say, all other things will come to you – I mean all things necessary to carry on the work that has been assigned to you.
So with all my love and blessings, and the assurance that you will soon receive the Love in increased abundance and do this Great Work with a faith that will not falter.
