Forma parte de un libro que es el segundo volumen de una recopilación concreta de los mensajes recibidos a principios del siglo XX por James E. Padgett de parte de varios desencarnados, entre otros, de Jesús de Nazaret.
Estos volúmenes fueron preparados y/o compartidos así por Divine Truth, entre otras personas.

San Pedro aconseja orar (8 agosto 1915)
Estoy aquí, San Pedro.
Quiero decirte que esta noche estás muy cerca del Padre y que Su Amor llena tu alma en gran medida. Veo que anhelas aprender de las cosas espirituales del Padre y de Su Amor hacia ti y hacia toda la humanidad.
Debes orar por más fe y confianza incondicional en Sus promesas y en las promesas del Maestro, pues se cumplirán y no quedarás decepcionado ni abandonado a tu suerte. Estoy contigo muy a menudo ahora, ya que deseo ayudarte en la gran obra que el Maestro te ha elegido para realizar; y debes alcanzar una condición que te permita realizar esta obra con la mayor perfección. Tu alma debe desarrollarse con este Amor Divino del Padre, para que estés en consonancia con el Maestro cuando escribe, pues sin esa consonancia no podrás captar los significados espirituales de sus mensajes como él desea.
Nada puede impulsar este desarrollo tanto como la oración ferviente y sincera al Padre. Con esta oración surgirá la fe, y con la fe llegará la Sustancia de aquello en lo que ahora tan solo puedes creer. Así que ora con frecuencia, creyendo que el Amor del Padre vendrá a ti y constatarás tu unidad [oneness] con Él.
Estoy tan interesado en ti y en el desarrollo de tu alma que te ayudaré con todo mi amor y poder.
No dejes que las cosas del mundo te distraigan de estas necesidades espirituales, y descubrirás que todas estas cosas materiales te serán provistas.
Sé firme y valiente en tus creencias y profesiones, y Dios estará contigo en cada momento de prueba y angustia. Esto lo sé y te lo digo como alguien que tiene conocimiento. Quiero que dejes que tu fe crezca hasta que la duda se disipe y sólo permanezca en ti la confianza en el Amor de Dios y en Su bondad. No escribiré más esta noche.

Josefo afirma que Jesús es un verdadero hijo de Dios, que vivió en la tierra y fue crucificado (8 agosto 1915)
Soy Josefo (historiador judío).
Soy el historiador judío, y ahora un cristiano. No eres alguien a quien se le pueda dejar en paz; quiero decir, que debo escribir sobre lo que sé de aquellos tiempos antiguos, pues veo que has sido seleccionado para realizar una gran obra y quiero contribuir a la verdad de la vida de Jesús en la tierra. Vivió justo antes de que yo escribiera, pero había oído hablar de él muchas veces y sé que existió realmente. En mi historia de los judíos lo mencioné, y cuando los eruditos dicen que lo que allí se dice es una interpolación, dicen algo falso, pues sí vivió y enseñó en Palestina, como afirma el Nuevo Testamento.
Nunca lo conocí, aunque las maravillas de sus obras circulaban por todo el país y causaban gran agitación entre los líderes de los judíos.
Nunca escribí mucho sobre él, porque todos lo considerábamos un simple agitador y destructor de nuestra religión, y a tales personas nunca les dábamos mucha notoriedad en nuestros escritos.
Pero este mismo Jesús de Nazaret vivió como hombre y fue crucificado por los romanos ante el clamor de los judíos. Quiero decirte esto porque se afirma que él nunca vivió en la tierra.
Soy su seguidor, creo en sus enseñanzas y he recibido el Nuevo Nacimiento que él enseñó.
Vivo en los Ámbitos Celestiales, donde solo sus seguidores viven. Él era el verdadero hijo de Dios, y su misión fue mostrar a los hombres el camino hacia el Amor de Dios y declarar la restitución del Amor Divino.
Te digo que esta es la verdad más importante en todos los cielos, excepto esta: que Dios es Amor. Estas dos constituyen la esperanza de la humanidad y proporcionan los medios por los cuales el hombre puede alcanzar la inmortalidad.
Sin este Nuevo Nacimiento, los hombres seguirán siendo meramente hombres y no participarán del Amor Divino ni del hogar en las Esferas Celestiales. Digo esto porque sé por experiencia lo que significa este Nuevo Nacimiento y sé, por observación, que quienes nunca lo han recibido no pueden entrar en estas Esferas. Por lo tanto, el hombre debe creer en esta gran verdad.
Muchos judíos se han convertido en creyentes desde que se volvieron habitantes del mundo espiritual, pero la gran mayoría de los habitantes de los Ámbitos Celestiales son aquellos a quienes llamábamos gentiles. Dios no eligió a las personas en el sentido de que Él designara salvar a una nación en particular con preferencia a todas las demás. Él no conoce preferencias. Todos son Sus hijos, y el gran don es para todos los que lo piden con fe.
No debo escribir más esta noche, pero con tu permiso volveré.
Vespasiano es un cristiano ahora, pero nunca lo fue mientras estuvo en la tierra, a pesar de que se decía que lo era. Siguió siendo pagano mientras vivió, pero conocía algo de las enseñanzas cristianas; y, tras haber estado en el mundo espiritual un tiempo considerable, recibió la luz y nació de nuevo. Está en los Ámbitos Celestiales y es seguidor del Maestro.
Así, como ves, desde que se convirtieron en espíritus, muchos de los judíos, gentiles y paganos que rechazaron al Maestro y sus enseñanzas en la tierra, tuvieron la oportunidad, y la aceptaron, de convertirse en partícipes del Amor Divino y seguidores del Maestro.
Bueno, quizá te sorprenda saber que Herodes también es un cristiano. Pero ninguna pluma puede describir los sufrimientos que tuvo que padecer. ¡Oh, largos años de arrepentimiento, tormento y oscuridad! Su experiencia fue ciertamente la de un infierno. Pero el Amor y la misericordia del Padre fueron suficientes para su redención; y entre todos los espíritus de nuestros Ámbitos Celestiales, no hay ninguno más humilde y manso que este mismo Herodes. Su vida, voluntariamente asumida, es una vida de servicio y devoción al Maestro. Creo que su amor por el Maestro es tan grande que ni siquiera él puede apreciarlo.
Aceptaré tu invitación con todo mi amor y sinceridad, pues la obra es de suma importancia y el momento es propicio. Oh, qué gran despertar habrá cuando las verdades de Dios, que el Maestro comunica a través de ti, lleguen al conocimiento y la consciencia de la humanidad.

Jesús – Qué es lo que a un hombre lo hace divino (15 marzo 1916)
Estoy aquí, Jesús.
Quiero escribir esta noche sobre el tema: «¿Qué hace a un hombre divino?».
Cuando el hombre fue creado, se le otorgaron las cualidades más elevadas que se le podían otorgar a un mortal; sin embargo, era un mero hombre, aunque uno perfecto, y con estas cualidades se le dio la posibilidad de que en su naturaleza se volviera Divino como el Padre; pero este don nunca lo poseyó en el goce de su plena consumación [fruition] hasta después de mi llegada a la Tierra y de que le diera a conocer que tal posibilidad existía.
El primer hombre creado nunca poseyó este don en su plenitud, sino que meramente tenía la posibilidad de recibirlo a condición de que perseverara en su obediencia y se esforzara por recibirlo de la manera que el Padre declaró como la única posible.
Se os ha explicado detalladamente qué era este don y cómo los primeros padres desaprovecharon su disfrute debido a su desobediencia y ambición de poseerlo de una manera que no estaba en consonancia con la del Padre.
Como hemos dicho, el hombre perdió esta posibilidad en el momento de la primera desobediencia, y a partir de entonces se convirtió gradualmente en un hombre cuya naturaleza moral se fue hundiendo cada vez más hasta llegar a casi perderse en la condición de las fieras del campo. Y desde esa condición ha ido mejorando o progresando constantemente hacia su primer estado de pureza.
Pero muchos hombres han dejado de saber, o nunca han sabido, que Dios es el Creador de todas las cosas, y que toda la creación depende de Él para su existencia misma. Y en su descaro y prepotencia [assurance and self importance], han asumido y profesado creer que su progreso o salvación depende de sus propios esfuerzos, y que éstos son suficientes para producir este estado de pureza o armonía con las leyes y deseos de Dios.
Pero en esto los hombres se equivocan, pues en ellos no hay nada Divino, y nunca lo habrá mientras dependan de sí mismos para progresar a este estado de perfección. La naturaleza Divina del Padre no está en el hombre y nunca formará parte de él hasta que recorra el camino que le es absolutamente necesario seguir para llegar a ser algo más que un simple hombre.
Esta noche no voy a escribir más, ya que creo que es mejor no hacerlo. Entiendo que no pudiste evitar tu estado de somnolencia, y no te culpo, pero creo que es mejor esperar hasta más tarde para terminar lo que deseo escribir.
Bueno, mi querido hermano, créeme que solo siento amor por ti y que me acercaré a ti a medida que avancemos; así que, te digo, no te preocupes.

San Esteban confirma que Jesús escribió (15 marzo 1916)
Estoy aquí y deseo escribirte unas pocas líneas, pues no estás en condiciones de escribir mucho esta noche.
El Maestro estaba decepcionado, pero es tan amoroso y bueno que no se quejó y solo quería que sintieras que no debías preocuparte por no haber podido recibir su mensaje; sin embargo, estaba decepcionado.
Entiendo que no pudiste controlar tu somnolencia y no tienes la culpa, pero fue lamentable y, de alguna manera, si es posible, debemos evitarlo en el futuro.
Si tan solo comprendieras la gran importancia de estos mensajes y la gran cantidad que aún quedan por escribir, harías todo lo posible por facilitar su recepción. No lo digo con tono de queja, sino simplemente constatando un hecho. Así que esfuérzate lo mejor posible para estar en buenas condiciones de modo que no haya ninguna falla en la recepción de los mensajes.
Estoy muy interesado en esta obra, al igual que muchos otros espíritus que constatan la importancia de que estas verdades sean dadas a la humanidad. Son las únicas verdades, y nunca, desde la época en que el Maestro estuvo en la tierra, han sido reveladas al hombre.

Josefo afirma que Jesús vivía en Palestina cuando escribió sobre él (20 septiembre 1915)
Estoy aquí, Josefo.
Solo quiero decir que desde la última vez que te escribí, he estado indagando quién enseñó que mi libro sufrió una interpolación en el párrafo donde habla de Jesús.
Estas personas son aquellas que no creen en Jesús como personaje histórico y que tratan de obtener pruebas para demostrar que no lo fue.
Pero te digo que sí lo fue, y que de hecho vivió en Palestina en la época en que escribí sobre él. No creo que sea lo mejor para mí escribir una carta larga esta noche, aunque sí volveré en algún momento.

Saint Peter gives advice to pray. (8 Aug 1915)
I AM HERE, Saint Peter.
I want to tell you that you are very near the Father tonight and that His Love is filling your soul to a great degree. I see that you are anxious to learn of the spiritual things of the Father and of His Love towards you and all mankind.
You must pray for more faith and trust implicitly in His promises, and in the promises of the Master, for they will be fulfilled and you will not be disappointed or left to yourself. I am with you quite often now, for I want to assist in the great work that Master has chosen you to do; and you must get into a condition that will enable you to do this work in the greatest perfection. Your soul must be developed with this Divine Love of the Father, so that you will be in accord with the Master when he writes, for unless there is such accord you will not be able to get the spiritual meanings of his messages as he wants you to do.
There is nothing that will cause this development as well as earnest, sincere prayer to the Father. With such prayer will come faith, and with faith will come the Substance of what you may now only believe. So pray often, believing that the Love of the Father will come to you, and you will realize your oneness with Him.
I am so much interested in you and your soul development that I am going to help you with all my love and power.
Let not the things of the world detract your attention from these spiritual necessities, and you will find that all these material things will be supplied you.
Be firm and courageous in your beliefs and professings and God will be with you in every time of trial and distress. This I know and tell you as one having knowledge. I want you to let your faith increase until doubt shall flee away, and only trust in the Love and goodness of God remain with you. I will not write more tonight.

Josephus affirms that Jesus is a true son of God, and lived on earth and was crucified. (8 Aug 1915)
I am Josephus (Jewish historian).
I am the Jewish historian and now a Christian. You are not a man to let alone. I mean that I must write some of my knowledge of the things of those ancient days, for I see that you are selected to do a great work and I want to contribute to the truth of Jesus’ life on earth. He lived just before I wrote, but I had heard of him many times, and I know that he was a real existing being. In my history of the Jews I mentioned him, and when the learned say that what is there said is interpolated, they say what is not true; for he did live and taught in Palestine as the New Testament claims.
I never met him, but the wonders of his works were circulated all over the country and caused much agitation on the part of the leaders of the Jews.
I never wrote much about him, because we all looked upon him as a mere agitator and destroyer of our religion, and to such we never gave much notoriety in our writings.
But this same Jesus of Nazareth lived as a man and was crucified by the Romans at the clamor of the Jews. I want to tell you this, because it is claimed that he never lived on earth.
I am a follower of him, and believe in his teachings and have received the New Birth that he taught.
I live in the Celestial Heavens where only his followers live. He was the true son of God, and his mission was to show men the way to God’s Love and to declare the rebestowal of the Divine Love.
I tell you that this is the most important truth in all the heavens, except this, that God is Love. These two constitute the hope of mankind and furnish the means by which man may acquire immortality.
Without this New Birth, men will remain merely men, and will not partake of the Divine Love, and the home in the Celestial Spheres. I say this, because I know from experience what this New Birth means, and from observation, that those who have never received it cannot enter these Spheres. So man must believe this great truth.
Many Jews have become believers since becoming inhabitants of the spirit world, but the large majority of the inhabitants of the Celestial Heavens are those whom we called Gentiles. God had not chosen people in the sense that He designed to save any particular nation in preference to all others. He knows no preference. All are His children,
and the great gift is for all who ask for it in faith.
I must not write more tonight, but with your permission will come again.
Vespasian is a Christian now, but he never was while on earth, notwithstanding that it was said that he was. He continued a pagan as long as he lived, but he knew something of the Christian teachings; and after he had been in the spirit world a considerable time he received the light and was born again. He is in the Celestial Heavens and a follower of the Master.
So you see, many Jews and Gentiles and pagans who rejected the Master and his teachings on earth have, since becoming spirits, had the opportunity, and embraced it, of becoming partakers of the Divine Love and followers of the Master.
Well, you may be surprised to know that Herod is also a Christian. But no pen can portray the sufferings that he had to undergo. Oh the long years of repentance and torment and darkness! His experience was a hell indeed. But the Love and mercy of the Father were even sufficient for his redemption; and among all the spirits of our Celestial Heavens, none are more humble and meek than is this same Herod. His life, voluntarily assumed, is one of service and devotion to the Master. I think that his love for the Master is so great, that even he cannot appreciate it.
I will, with all my love and earnestness, accept your invitation, for the work is of the greatest importance and the time is ripe. Oh what an awakening there will be when the truths of God, which the Master is communicating through you, shall come to the knowledge and consciousness of mankind.

Jesus – What it is that makes a man Divine (15 Mar 1916)
I AM HERE, Jesus.
I wish to write tonight on the subject: «What it is that makes a man Divine.»
When man was created he was given the highest qualities that could be bestowed upon a mortal, and yet he was mere man, but the perfect one, and with these qualities was given him the possibility of becoming Divine like the Father in his nature; but this gift was never possessed by him in its enjoyment of full fruition until after my coming to earth, and making known to man that such a possibility existed.
The first created man never possessed this gift in its fulfillment, but merely had the possibility of receiving it, on condition that he continued in his obedience, and made the effort to receive it in the way that the Father declared was the only way.
You have been told in detail what this gift was, and how the first parents forfeited the enjoyment of it by their disobedience and ambition to possess it in a way that was not in accord with the Father’s way.
As we have said, man lost this possibility at the time of the first disobedience, and thereafter became gradually a man with his moral nature sinking lower and lower until he became almost lost in the condition of the beasts in the field. And from that condition he has been steadily improving or progressing towards his first estate of purity.
But a great many men have ceased to know, or have never known, that God is the Creator of all things, and that all creation is dependent upon Him for its very existence, and in their assurance and self importance they have assumed and professed to believe that their progress or salvation depends upon their own efforts, and that these efforts are sufficient to bring about this state of purity or harmony with God’s laws and desires.
But in this men are mistaken, for there is nothing in them that is Divine, and there never will be when they depend upon their own selves to progress to this state of perfection. The Divine nature of the Father is not in man and will never become a part of him until he pursues the way which is absolutely necessary for him to follow in order to become anything more than mere man.
I will not write more tonight as I think it best not to do so. I understand that you could not prevent your condition of sleepiness, and I do not blame you, but I think it best to wait until later to finish what I desire to write.
Well, my dear brother, believe that I have only love for you, and will get close to you as we progress – so I say, don’t worry.

St. Stephen affirms Jesus wrote. (15 Mar 1916)
I am here, and desire to write just a few lines, for you are not in condition for lengthy writing tonight.
The Master was disappointed, but he is so loving and good that he did not complain and only wanted you to feel that you must not worry, because of the fact that you could not take his message – but nevertheless he was disappointed.
I understand that you could not control your sleepiness and are not to blame, but it was unfortunate, and it must in some way, if possible, be avoided in the future.
If you only realized the great importance of these messages and the great number that are yet to be written, you would bend every effort to facilitate their reception. I am not saying this complainingly, but merely stating a fact. So try your best to get in a good condition so that there will be no failure in your receiving the messages.
I am so very much interested in this work and so are a host of other spirits who realize the importance of these truths being given to mankind. They are the only truths, and never, since the time when the Master was on earth, have they been revealed to man.
I will not write more tonight, but will say with all my love that I am your brother in Christ.

Josephus affirms that Jesus lived in Palestine at the time he wrote of him. (20 Sep 1915)
I AM HERE, Josephus.
I merely want to say that since I wrote you last I have made inquiries as to who it was that taught that my book was interpolated in the paragraph where it speaks of Jesus.
These persons are they who do not believe in Jesus as an historical person and try to procure evidence to show that he was not.
But I tell you that he was, and that he actually lived in Palestine at the time I wrote about him. I do not think it best for me to write a long letter tonight but will come again sometime.
