Introducción

La lectura de este mensaje dura en el audio hasta el minuto 11:22, y luego hay comentarios. Esta vez los mensajes no tienen tanta relación directa con el tema de este apartado 11 ─que agrupa mensajes muy variados─.
Son tres mensajes: de Jefferson, Washington y de Jesús.
Tratan sobre el tema de la conexión con el mundo espiritual (la conexión que está teniendo Padgett, por ejemplo). Jesús comenta también que nunca tuvo que estudiar, o que nunca fue a estudiar, las filosofías griegas, hindús, etc., tal como a veces se dice que fueron «sus influencias».
A continuación, pues, tratamos parte del apartado:
11) La expiación vicaria
Se trata de los siguientes tres mensajes contenidos en el apartado.
El tema principal en el apartado es «la expiación vicaria», ya que es una creencia o dogma muy dañino.

Forma parte de un libro que es el primer volumen de una recopilación concreta de los mensajes recibidos a principios del siglo XX por James E. Padgett de parte de varios desencarnados, entre otros, Jesús de Nazaret.

No soy un conocido tuyo, pero deseo decirte unas palabras, pues me interesa mucho la labor que tienes por delante. Sin duda, eres un hombre privilegiado por haber sido elegido para realizarla.
Es una obra magnífica y de vital importancia para la humanidad y el destino de los mortales.
No escribiré más por ahora, pero me gustaría volver a escribirte si te es posible.
Sí, amo a Dios, vivo en la primera esfera celestial y, como sabes, soy un hijo redimido de Dios e inmortal.

El mismo que te escribió hace unas noches.
Bueno, eres mi hermano y me complace que me llames así, pues en este mundo de espíritus no tenemos títulos ni distinciones por cualquier tipo de posición o fama que hayamos tenido en la Tierra.
Vine a decirte que he observado con interés las numerosas comunicaciones que has recibido de los diversos tipos y órdenes de espíritus, y me sorprende un tanto la precisión con la que has podido recibir estos mensajes. Jamás en mi vida terrenal creí que algo así pudiera darse, y desde que me convertí en espíritu, nunca he visto semejante demostración del poder que poseen los espíritus para comunicarse y los mortales para recibir los mensajes que te llegan. Sé que muchas veces los espíritus se han comunicado con los mortales, pero lo que encuentro sorprendente es la gran variedad de espíritus que acuden a ti. Provienen de las esferas celestiales más elevadas, así como de los planos terrenales, y lo que escriben no solo es nuevo para la humanidad, sino que muchas de sus declaraciones de la verdad son nuevas para muchos de nosotros, los espíritus.
Muy pocas veces quienes habitamos las esferas celestiales tenemos la oportunidad de comunicarnos con alguno de estos espíritus ancestrales que viven en las alturas de los ámbitos celestiales, y cuando los veo venir y comunicarse contigo con tanta frecuencia, me asombra.
Sé, por supuesto, que estos espíritus entran a veces en el plano terrenal e intentan influir tanto en mortales como en espíritus para que hagan el bien, pero quiero decirte que, por lo general, su influencia se ejerce a través de espíritus intermediarios, y no directamente por estos espíritus más elevados en persona, tal como lo hacen a través de ti.
Los mensajes que has recibido de estos espíritus que vivieron en la Tierra hace miles de años fueron realmente escritos por ellos mismos, conforme controlaban tu mente y tu mano.
Me esfuerzo al máximo por ayudarte en tu labor y seguiré haciéndolo, pues la labor que se te ha encomendado es la más importante en la que el mundo espiritual se encuentra inmerso actualmente; y me refiero al mundo que reconoce a Jesús como su Príncipe y Maestro.
Algunos espíritus vienen porque ven la oportunidad de comunicarse con los mortales y, naturalmente, desean dar a conocer que viven felices en sus esferas. Pero su felicidad no es la verdadera felicidad que disfrutan los verdaderos creyentes y seguidores del Maestro. Así pues, con tu labor, cuando acudan a ti, tendrás la oportunidad de hablarles de esta experiencia superior que disfrutan los redimidos del Padre. Hay muchos espíritus en estas esferas inferiores, y estarían en los Ámbitos Celestiales si tan solo conocieran el camino.
Con frecuencia intentamos mostrarles el camino a la verdad y a la vida superior, pero nos resulta una tarea ardua. Piensan que somos meros espíritus como ellos, que tenemos nuestras opiniones igual que ellos tienen las suyas, y que nos equivocamos en las nuestras, y que por lo tanto no podemos decirles nada que les muestre verdades que no conozcan o que les proporcione una felicidad mayor que la que ya tienen.
Cuando notan el contraste en nuestra apariencia ─es decir, que somos mucho más bellos y radiantes que ellos─ simplemente piensan que tal belleza y brillo son resultado de alguna causa natural, y que solo diferimos de ellos como una raza humana difiere de otra. No parecen creer que haya nada en ese contraste en nuestra apariencia que se deba a una condición espiritual superior a la suya. Y este es el gran obstáculo que les impide interesarse por las condiciones que poseemos, las cuales les deberían impulsar a investigar y aprender la verdadera causa de las mismas. Por eso digo que podrías hacerles algún bien en este sentido, pues eres una tercera persona y debes llamar su atención sobre el gran contraste, y explicarles la causa según tu entendimiento; lo que digas probablemente tendrá algún efecto y les motivará a indagar, y una vez que comiencen, entonces tendremos la oportunidad de guiarlos hacia la luz de la gran verdad del Amor Divino del Padre.
Y bien, me he desviado de lo que pretendía escribir, pero no importa, pues todas las verdades de Dios son importantes tanto para los mortales como para los espíritus. Soy muy feliz en mi hogar en las Esferas Celestiales del Padre, y trato de ascender a las superiores. Permíteme, pues, asegurarte la veracidad de lo que os han escrito tanto los de tu grupo como otros espíritus redimidos por Dios.

Aquí estoy. Jesús.
Bueno, debes tener más fe y orar más. Estas son las cosas importantes, y la siguiente es que debes invocarme cuando te sientas abatido y necesites consuelo, pues te responderé y te ayudaré. Y luego debes permitir que tu querida esposa te visite con su amor y sus ánimos. Ella es un espíritu hermoso y te ama más allá de cualquier idea que puedas hacerte sobre ello, y debes amarla.
Sí, te amo más de lo que puedes comprender, y debes corresponder a mi amor y aunarte conmigo.
Oro contigo cada noche cuando me lo pides, tal como lo haces, y sé que el Padre responderá a mis oraciones, así como a las tuyas. Sé lo que digo y debes creerme.
Así que hazme tus preguntas, sean las que sean, y las responderé antes de que las formules.
Nunca estuve en India, Grecia ni en esos otros lugares estudiando las filosofías de los filósofos griegos e indios. Nunca recibí mi conocimiento de nadie más que de mi Padre, a través de mi comunicación con Él y de las enseñanzas de las escrituras judías. Viví con mis padres en casa, en Nazaret, todos los años posteriores a mi regreso de Egipto, hasta que comencé mi ministerio público.
Ni Juan ni Pablo jamás comunicaron que yo estuviera en esos países extranjeros estudiando las filosofías de los maestros que mencionan. Juan nunca viajó conmigo fuera de Palestina, y a Pablo nunca lo vi mientras estuve en la tierra.
Juan era un hombre de naturaleza muy afectuosa, y me acompañó mucho durante mi ministerio, pero no era lo que se consideraba un hombre instruido ni conocía las filosofías de los hombres mencionados. Era simplemente el hijo de un humilde pescador, y lo elegí como discípulo por su receptividad a mis enseñanzas y el gran potencial que tenía para desarrollar el principio del amor. Así que no debes creer las afirmaciones que contiene ese libro sobre este tema.

I am a stranger but I want to say just a word as I am so interested in the work that you have before you to do. You certainly are a favored man by having been selected to do this work.
It is a stupendous work and one which is of the greatest vital importance to mankind and to the destiny of mortals.
I will not write longer at this time, but would like to come again, if agreeable, and write.
Yes, I am a lover of God, and I live in the first Celestial Sphere, and, as you know, am a redeemed child of God and immortal.

Affirming that the Ancient Spirits Wrote, and Many Came from the Celestial Heavens and the Lower Spirit Heavens (George Washingon – Celestial Spirit, First President) (12 Aug 1915)
I am here – George Washington.
The same who wrote to you a few nights ago.
Well you are my brother and I am pleased that you call me your brother, for in this world of spirits we have no titles or distinctions because of any fame or position we may have had on earth.
I came to tell you that I have watched with interest the many communications that you have received from the various kinds and orders of spirits, and am somewhat surprised that you could receive with such accuracy these several messages. I never in earth life supposed that such a thing could be, and since I became a spirit, I have never seen such demonstrations of the powers that exist on the part of spirits to communicate and mortals to receive the messages that come to you. I know that very many times such communications have been made by spirits to mortals, but what I mean as surprising is the greaty variety of spirits who come to you. They come from the highest Celestial Spheres as well as from the earth planes and what they write are not only new to mankind but many of their declarations of truth are new to many of us spirits.
Very seldom do we who are in the Celestial Spheres have the opportunity to communicate with any of these ancient spirits who live high up in the Celestial Heavens and when I see them come and communicate to you so frequently, I wonder at it all.
I know, of course, that such spirits do occasionally come into the earth plane; and try to influence both mortals and spirits to do good, but I want to tell you that usually their influence is exerted through intermediary spirits, and not directly by these higher spirits in person as they do through you.
The messages that you have received from these spirits who lived on earth thousands of years ago were really written by them as they controlled your brain and hand.
I am trying my best to help you in your work and will continue to do so, for the work that you have been selected to do is the most important one that the spirit world is now engaged in – I mean the world that recognizes Jesus as its Prince and Master.
Some spirits come, because they see the way open to communicate to mortals, and they naturally desire to make known the fact that they live and are happy in their spheres. But their happiness is not the real happiness which the true believers and followers of the Master enjoys. So you in your work, when they come to you may have the opportunity to tell them of this higher experience which the redeemed of the Father enjoy. Many spirits are in these lower spheres who would be in the Celestial Heavens if they only knew the way.
We frequently try to show them the way to truth and the higher life, but we find it a difficult task. They think that we are merely spirits like themselves – have our opinions just as they have theirs, and that we are mistaken in ours, and hence we can tell them nothing which will show them truths that they do not know, or will give them greater happiness than they have.
When they notice the contrast in our appearance – that is that we are so much more beautiful and bright than are they – they simply think that such beauty and brightness is a result of some natural cause, and that we merely differ from them as do one race of men differ from another. They do not seem to think that there is anything in the contrast in our appearance that is caused by any higher spiritual condition than what they have. And this is the great stumbling block in the way of their becoming interested in the conditions which we have, and which should urge them to investigate and learn the true cause for the same. And hence, I say, that you may do them some good in this regard, for you are a third person and should call their attention to the great contrast and tell them the cause as you understand it, what you say would probably make some impression on them, and cause them to make inquiry, and once they commenced this then would come our opportunity to lead them into the light of the great truth of the Divine Love of the Father.
Well, I have digressed from what I intended to write but it is just as well, for all the truths of God are important to both mortals and spirits. I am very happy in my home in the Celestial Spheres of the Father, and I am trying to progress to those higher. So let me assure you of the truths of what you have had written to you by your band and others of God’s redeemed spirits.

Jesus Was Never in India and Greece Studying Their Philosophies as Some Claim (Jesus) (29 Jun 1915)
I am here. Jesus.
Well, you must have more faith, and pray more. These are the important things, and the next is, that you must call on me when you get despondent and need consolation, for I will respond and help you. And then you must let that dear wife of yours come to you with her love and cheer. She is a beautiful spirit and loves you beyond any conception that you may have and you must love her.
Yes, I do love you more than you can comprehend, and you must return my love and be at one with me.
I pray with you every night when you ask me to, as you do, and I know that the Father will answer my prayers as well as yours. I know what I say and you must believe me.
So let me have your questions no matter what they will be and I will answer before you ask them.
I was never in India and Greece and those other places studying the philosophies of the Greek and Indian philosophers. I never received my knowledge from any other than my Father in my communications with Him and from the teachings of the Jewish Scriptures. I lived at home in Nazareth with my parents all the years of my life after my return from Egypt until I started on my public ministry.
Neither John nor Paul ever communicated that I was in these foreign countries studying the Philosophies of the teachers they name. John never travelled with me outside of Palestine, and Paul, I never saw while on earth.
John was a man of very affectionate nature and was with me a great deal during my ministry, but he was not what was called a learned man nor was he acquainted with the philosophies of the men mentioned. He was merely the son of a lowly fisherman, and was selected by me for one of my disciples because of his susceptibility to my teachings and the great possibility for developing the love principle. So you must not believe the statements contained in that book on this subject.
Well you must stop, but remember that I am with you and love you.
